btw the stage seems a little bit small. (i hate big stages like the one we saw in moscow but i also hate the tiny one we saw in Helsinki)

I am not a good diagram-reader, so let me ask: The catwalk idea was abandoned? I can´t imagine it with all the tubes encircling the stage.

That stage is so bad it belongs on JESC. What the hell were they thinking?

I think the stage looks great, the only thing I am worried about is that if it is too small, then performances made by groups will look messy. Remember the 2007 stage with :se: :fr: :cy: and :is: as a few examples of performances that didn't get their full potential and it felt like the bandmembers were even standing on each others. I hope that won't be the case here so that songs from for example :fi: and :dk: will get problems (even if they aren't among my own top faves, I want it to be as fair as possible)

The diameter is 14.2 metres (LED floor is 11m).

That's actually bigger than Düsseldorf :'D

Oh okay thats good, Düsseldorf worked good with the groups at least, so then I think it will work in Vienna as well! :D

I only think the lights in front are a bad idea, because they'll be directly at eye level for the people standing close to the stage.

It still looks like a talk show stage. Hello and welcome to todays episode of Oprah

And the JESC 2014 stage looks bigger  I actually think it is ..

I don't know what to think about the stage xthink Those lights all around are taking way too much space and it looks small indeed. It's a shame they kept recycling ideas this year (logo, motto, stage...). At least the platform where the artists will stand on should have been moved forward, now it seems like they'll have a "roof" above them.

I hope there are screens behind. And no catwalk? Is the greenroom still in front of the stage?

I want to see those lights "in action" since I doubt it could fit every act.
