I believe that maybe we'll have more countries than 39 or 40, and I can't exclude a record of participants! But I don't know why, I believe Turkey will come back in Vienna...:)

Arabella xlove

Major comeback, but that's not Ola's surprise I guess....

Looking forward to Conchita hashtagging Eric Saade in the green room.... xD

I for one am actually quite okay-ish with this decision. Mirjam Weichselbraun has been omnipresent in Austrian television for the past ten-odd years, and I feel most Austrians couldn't much give a toss about her anymore, but hey, she purportedly speaks very good English, so there you go. Arabella Kiesbauer is a bit of a surprise to me, she has been dumpster-diving ever since her stunt as Germany's first-ever trash talk show presenter ended, it is only logical that she currently hosts a show called "Farmer Wants a Wife" on private television. Not much class, ey?

The one I'm really pleased with is Alice Tumler. She's been the rising star on Austrian television, and while she is currently presenting the god-awful Austrian equivalent of "Got Talent", she's really versatile, great with words and languages and she's got something going for her.

I feel we could've gotten it so much worse. Imagine the ever-unfunny but trying really hard Andi Knoll or the even more ever-unfunny but trying even harder Robert Kratky presenting.

I should just be interested to see how it will pan out in the shows. I got a strong feeling that Alice Tumler is going to do the points in the final, but what Kiesbauer's and Weichselbraun's contributions are going to be is left to be seen.

Instead of postcards, I wish for Conchita to interview every artist in the break between two songs..

"How do you feel darling now after your performance, you looked stunning on stage....."

Four women hosting the show is great but also it sounds too much, i don't think we need 4 people to moderate Eurovision. Only two ladies and Conchita in the green room would be ideal. But offcourse i don't know how they will do in May.

soooo, I guess this year they want to please the "straight male Eurovision-fans" xheya xshifty
Couldn't be happier ... although I have to admit that at least one man would have been great too.

Arabella Kiesbauer! Who would have thought that!
I have to say, I've seen her presenting shows perfectly: charming, clever and funny. But she also had her bad moments, when I found her quite annoying. I'm curious to see how she will do that, since she has been away from the screen for quite a while.

Are we sure Conchita will be among them? 4 people seems too much indeed. Or maybe half of them will be responsible for the semis while the others will host the final like in 2009?

Conchita will only do the interviews in the green room. The three women are then going to be the main "stage" presenters.

I really hate the 3 presenter line-up. No need at all.

Actually it's 3 on-stage hosts and 1 backstage host, so nothing extra ordinary.

I guess Alice Tumler is definitely at the scoreboard, at least for the french part of it. Maybe the backstage/green room part of the show gets more emphasis.

The Russians had 4 on-stage hosts in 2009, with a different set in the final, and 2 backstage hosts.

^I think Arabella has great French too though. At least she attended the Lycée Français in Vienna...

But I hope Alice will get the most important jobs :'D
