Both are beautiful, but :al: is a bit more of a quality song than :es:
Ohh I'm soo grateful  :gr: :ro: :cy: :ua: failed to reach TOP 10! Their results are almost embarassing.

It's hard for me to keep my mouth shut on the poorer than expected results for the entries I did not really like, so you did just that for me (partially)

Well I wouldn't call 12th for :ro: embarrasing. But it's a fact that all dance songs this year tanked...:(

This is wonderful. Bosnia and Serbia was the only countries who gave 12 points to my favourite, Kaliopi. And these two countries was my favuorite countries in Europe (except Sweden) before the show. This fortified my love for you! Don't tell me why, but I've always loved the balcans. There is something in the atmosphere between people down there, and in the nature. Anyway, I thought this coincidence was pleasant. :)

Some final thoughts:

Winner - not gonna comment, there are more serious problems with esc than this year's winner
Russia - predictable, although ridiculous
UK - a great song sung by a legendary performer, if this was 20 years ago, he would have won
Albania - no, just no... I don't get how this could get so high, it was just shouting!
Bosnia - beautiful song, should've been higher
Cyprus & Greece - my personal favorites and I predicted one of them as a potential winner, these countries' position is the most ridiculous thing that happened in the final
France - so underrated... :(
Italy & Spain - both great songs, deserved the top 3, and not something around 10th place...
Norway - I thought the song was catchy, and it came last?!
Azerbaijan - didn't expect it to make this high, but congratulations to them, it was a decent song
Malta - I hoped it would be higher, especially after being drawn 21st to perform
Denmark - :(
Ukraine - I thought this would be in the top 5...

hmmm, it is possible that it was because 1 of them stood out hard. who knows, maybe next year it will be other way around xshrug

I don't want to insult or annoy any1 here, but Sweden did have the best performance as well. fast songs are tricky for live, and often they come out...not so good. studio versions can be fantastic but live often doesn't work.

AdelAdel thank u !! Cyprus' and Greece's were the most ridiculous results. Well, Cyprus' more than Greece's but anyway...it was clear there was some kind of war against them.

I'm sure the juries screwed up everything for dance songs this year... They made a top 10 full of ballads! I'm wondering what Russia is doing second, though! It's unfair, because the songs that become hits after ESC are the dance songs, I don't think any radio in the world would play the Albanian song ever... I'm sure you will hear Zaleilah, La La Love and Aphrodisiac in the radio instead! People like these songs, not the songs that the juries vote for! I want full televoting system to come back!

Excellent post :D

Congratulations Sweden! It was well deserved. I hope Loreen manages to profit from this victory and become known worldwide.
I cried with emotion when she won xD I feel so silly. I was kinda expecting her to win, but I couldn´t stop the emotion xD
I´m also ashamed for only receiving 3 points from my country (Portugal).
She deserved so much! It´s a pitty that she didn´t break Rybak´s record. That would be epic xD

Stockholm 2013!!! xcheer

i want to hug u right now :)

That guy introducing Loreens mother is a bit scary. It's like celebrating the Moroccan mother of Loreen, in such a way....that it's a bit provocative.
