Jees..only one song can win: does that mean that every year we're going to get forty countries complaining that the only reason they lost was neighbours voting for neighbours...

The PL commentator said Turkey's song was plagiarism of a song by Muse.
But I dunno which one

HA!
The beginning of Mangas song reminds me of "Undisclosed desires" from Muse!

I'm so so so so sorry for Turkey.
Politic,I hate it.

Okay, I'll bite. Are you suggesting Turkey not winning is down to 'politics'? If so, why?

Maybe in earlier contests, especially before the split Jury/Vote system, perhaps, but this year? No way. Very simply, I preferred Lena's song to maNga, and Europe seemed to agree.

A question to Matt: how high is the possibility of Berlin hosting the contest next year? Any idea?

TIME Magazine calls Germany's Lena a "global superstar" and "national icon." Is this a bit premature?

I guess it sort of is. I don't really remember any popular German artists that have been really popular in the world. Although I wouldn't be surprised if she becomes quite popular, at least in Europe.

By the way I thought this part was funny in that article because while of course those lyrics are stupid, most chart-topping mainstream hip-hop in the US is really similar to that.

"And the French entry, which placed 12th, involved choreographed thrusts to occasionally saucy lyrics: "Darling, you must get up and move your butt ... Lala, it will heat up, I feel the stuff up."."

It's so funny how some Turkish members are blaming political voting because they didn't win. So interesting coming from you

We can vote for your country if you have a real song. But you never do it even if we take part in the contest with Rihanna, Beyonce or anything like that.

When did you give even a point to us?

I really hope that it'll be Berlin (you can guess why  ) but I'm afraid that the ARD/NDR will choose Hamburg.
