Answer me 1st. I'm asking you again - do you say/hint that I (or the juries) have a bad taste? ;)

I Never say that you or the jury had bad taste, but its seams they prefer to vote on outdated songs as well over the things who current and modern and that's a bit annoying.

You seem to equate outdated with powerful vocals and great instrumentation. I don't think that Denmark was outdated at all, and they did incredibly well with the juries.

Yes i agree, but why the jury don't do the same with Russia when they rate well to Swdich song, no mencions that from Eric to Alex, all modern songs were left between 9 and 17 on jury results.

^ It's not my fault that those modern songs sucked.

They didn't suck! They where high in televoting! I am not arguing anything about the jury and I said that in music there is no good or bad taste, I am just saying that a music expert shouldn't have a biger power in voting then a normal person, just like in a cooking contest an expert chef shouldn't have more power then the ordinary people tasting the food :D

these 'music experts' = comedians, nf losers, entrants from the 70's, broadcaster employees, gossip journalists

Actually they did. And that's the difference between us. Accept it.

As for cooking analogy... both dishes can taste the same but 1 of them is more useful for your health, that's why we need experts.
You can have your own taste but it doesn't mean that ONLY the crowd should dictate what's good. If you follow the majority only, go back to the jungle :) It should be 50/50.

^ Your request is pointless just like it's pointless to compare 1 semi's qualifiers with the whole final. Not to mention that they have different rehersals

Maybe in Germany  But not here.

If one broadcaster is allowed to choose them, every broadcaster can. And music professors or whoever you assume behind the hidden names of 80% of the 'jurors' are free to pick up their phones as everyone else.

We discussed about this rule in some thread (before the change), didn't we? I'm happy that the stupid rule changed, it was way too unfair. Also the screen looked ugly during the show

Agree with the change back, the amount of people voting for countries before their entries were heard must've been too great

I have to say that I don't agree that juries only love English-language songs and hate ethno. ESTONIA 2009, HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Indeed ; People have to stop saying that juries don't like ethno.

Yes people will say now Slovakia in 2010 & also Finland 2010.

But be honest, Slovakia was after Latvia the worst-sung song from semi-1 imo.
The girl really just can't sing. She could've tried to let her backings sing so good like Ireland & Sweden this year,
But really maybe that backing was the worst i've ever seen in my entire life. Her solo part was really awful.
And I don't hate this song in any way. This was my pre-contest favourite just like Hungary this year
And we all know how that turned out. One of the worser presentations & her high notes were awful.

Finland deserved the final imo but Schlager stays and will always stay a like or dislike genre of music.

Estonia 2009 was a good ethno-song in a bad eurovision-year imo. Maybe it even deserved a top three placing

Estonia 2009 was not an ethnic entry. Probably you associate it with nordic mystic or something like that but even in a broader sense it owns no elements of traditional Estonian music which, for instance, was their 2004 song. However, jury rated it equally as televoters thus I do not see an overall counterevidence here anyway. And it is not about Finland and Slovakia only but about all ethnic/folk(/unconventional) songs.

@ lowby

The Eurovision Song Contest is not a new idol show, it stays a song contest after all.

Yes that's true but we all know that the song contest isn't 100% about the song only and be honest, who will vote for the best song when it's sung soo crappy.
Not me tho.
