I don’t remember Jesper being accused of anything since he isn’t mentioned by name... so it’s crazy to compare both cases.
And I don’t wanna go deeper into the Depp-Heard fight because BOTH are not innocent, it wasn’t only Johnny who seemed to have lost his mind some times (and I say that as a woman).

I read an article on Jesper's break up a few weeks back. The impression I got from reading that is that it was a nasty break up and his ex is making the accusations out of spite.

What we know for certain is that she was "confined" (in a mental health clinic?) after the break up for her own good. Which doesn't rly say anything about how that relationship went, other than sideways.

Perhaps we shouldn't be casting judgment until a formal investigation has been conducted, hmm?

In Denmark there are mainly positive reactions to being the closing act. But maybe that's just because of the usual theory about the advantages of finishing the show.

There were multiple worse entries from in my impression, from more recent ones 2016 (Soldiers of Love) spring to my mind - so cloying, forgettable and pointless.

I have just listened to it again for the first time since 2016 and it is actually quite pleasing even though pretty vanilla. No, there must have been something way worse ...

I still have Denmark down as an NQ but if any of the borderlines fuck up (Serbia, San Marino, Estonia), I would assume they'll take their spot.

Before the RO was released I would've put (who I also had as NQ before the RO) in that slot instead, but closing is a spot that actually matters in terms of televote potential.

This song is unfairly disliked by the fandom and underrated by the bookmakers. While we have entries like the Greek and Polish ones that are trying to jump on the bandwagon of 80's inspired Pop but end up sounding like they completely lack their own identity and rather sound like b-sides from the latest Dua Lipa project, this one is an unapologetic nod to the 80's vitamin pill and in my book wins on its authenticity. Not only are we hearing Danish in the contest for the first time since 1997, but the whole song is having a clear Danish identity and sounds like an updated version of late 70's to 80's Danish Eurovision entries, so it's just pure nostalgia. I really enjoy this entry for what it is, it's fun and non-pretentious, it's genuine and authentic. This one lands in the top. 5 for me, I am however afraid that the juries will downvote it in the contest, so my hope is on the public that seem to enjoy life more than the juries seem to do.

Prediction: Denmark will qualify from the semi 2, and will placed around a 19. place in the final (I have strongly feeling Denmark will do like San Marino in 2019 and with a votesplit like Ukraine in 2018)

I agree, I always kind of believed that the song is not a definite NQ, my only worry is how Europeans haven't heard how Danish sounds in a loooong time. If Jesper improves his vocal, I think there is a good chance, especially considering how advantageous is the placement given by EBU...

Not sure if they even care how they are gonna rank in May. I just desperately want it in the final, it’s such a feelgood song and it shows the variety in Eurovision. I have a feeling it will qualify and I hope it doesn’t trick me.
