THE GOOD:

• The vocals and the instrumentals do their job well.
• It's sort of memorable.

THE BAD:

• It's a sound that doesn't work in 2021.
• The lead vocalist looks a bit awkward when performing.

THE VERDICT:

This is a song that comes straight from the late 70s to early 80s, and it's certainly proud of that. Bad news is that this isn't that era anymore, and it's a bit past the time for a retro revival. I see this as more of a laugh-at (bad) song rather than a laugh-with (good) song. Therefore, I don't see this song in the Final. FWIW, this song executes its era well. It's just that it's the wrong era to do in 2021. 7 points

I have a feeling it might actually make the Final because it closes Semi 2.

And if that happens, I can see it being the show opener for the Final (depending on which half it draws, of course) as it's kind of a shout-out to the old Eurovision, and I think older viewers would be drawn in by that.

However, I don't think we should expect much of a result if it makes the Final, and that's fine. It's not a serious contender. It's more a 'there for the fun of it'-entry.

If the show hadn't been canceled last year, Ben and Tan's song was great, IMO.

Only "Where I Am" comes to mind.

Denmark is my least favourite Scandi country of the century, and Where I Am is the song I hate to death the second most after Love is Forever.

This year they finally have a song that I genuinely enjoy. I am still worried though inspite the running order. Last running order ranking just can confirm to all the viewers at home, that this song won't change their mind anymore. Yes, it will be the most memorable, but that's it. There is lack of allies, and I am wary about jury support and most of all the vocal abilities of Jesper.

2018? It was their only entry that I would call 'good' since then albeit I enjoyed 2016 too. 'Say Yes' was very nice albeit the contest got cancelled so it hardly counts.

This song is a love or hat, and in my case, is not my cup of tea at all. I feel the 80s vibes, but in a bad way, it is cliché. I like it being in dannish and the glittering clothing is a thing. It is avery risky choice for Denmark and i wonder how it does.
