Ok I listened to the songs. First things first, the Latino hit. It's alright, I've heard better for sure. I love the "ohlalalalalatino, my Cariño infinito" because it's super catchy and fun, and some parts are good but the verses are so dull and lifeless and that weird spoken part is creepy. The rest are just there, there are some quite decent songs there but just to echo other people the lyrics are just so so basic, maybe because I'm a native speaker I can see it more Idk. I'm 100% sure a chunk of these songs come from The same songwriting camps that the UK NF songs did, just they sound slightly stronger. We might as well just hold a joint nf next year.

Very mediocre line-up, I'm not super excited by any, the top 3 are nice but...that's all. Denmark living up to its usual mediocrity I guess.

I was thinking of our NF as well when I was listening to these. On the same sort of page composition wise, and both selections are suffering from some seriously dud lyrical work.
And the talking bit was obviously added to the Latino song to get me on board, so that I can cheer for it with you, on our continued quest to find the next Warrior (of Amber Bondin fame) to rock the Eurovision. In time you will grow to find the talking part of Kiss Like This life enriching too.

And I was having high hopes … The only song still sort of listenable is Julie & Nina - League of Light for me, but … don't get warm with that either. Goodbye, Denmark. Now I understand why Mads Mikkelsen took flight from here, but he shouldn't have searched for cover at Roi instead …
