Re: CZECH REPUBLIC 2019

I think Jakub Ondra is the one suspected to be Adam Mišík. Pam Rabbit is probably right and the one above her could be Thom Artway. With the othersit's hard to tell.

From the photos on Instagram, Jakub's eyes are more elongated. See the photo below and compare. I think it's really Adam Misik.

Re: CZECH REPUBLIC 2019

Look, I am not sure about anything anymore. :) Except for one thing - Jakub Ondra is there somewhere. He released Space Sushi after the ČT's decision who will be in the NF, proudly presenting it as his Eurovision submission on several news sites and in a radio interview which I unfortunately missed. He wouldn't do that if Space Sushi wasn't selected. Also, he wouldn't tag his 4 days old post #eurovision2019 and he wouldn't start to speak English on his InstaStories all of sudden. Maybe his eye belongs to the potential Adam Mišík, maybe to the one I believe is Thom Artway. We will see.

Based just on the eye picture, yes, it really could be Adam Mišík as well. If so, good for him. His usual repertoir is not my cup of tea, but he's a nice guy, not a bad live singer and he doesn't take himself too seriously, which is always a plus in my book.

I also think that Jakub Ondra will be in the national final (even though I don't see his eye on the published photo). I was very disappointed with it. I find it inconceivable someone talented with Jakub to have a full year to work on a song and present a horrible song like "Space Sushi".

About Adam Misik, I don't really like his songs either. Maybe it comes with a proposal to be a "Mikolas Josef 2.0", what I think is a mistake
but could have some success.

Czech people: Poetika can be the only band in the national final? They started following Hana Barbara (one of the confirmed singers) recently on Instagram.

I don't know about Poetika, but maybe I wasn't wrong about Albert Černý and/or Lake Malawi:

"All the best in 2019! We are preparing a big surprise on 7th January... Thank you for being with us! Albert next to a birch."

They also mentioned the press release on Monday on their instagram, so I guess it is 100% confirmed now.

Jan Bors added Thom Artway and David Stypka to his friends on Facebook today xthink

Jan Bors also follows a newcomer called Jara Vymer, who yesterday released a song "On My Knees". It is quite Eurovisiony, in a way - it has a big fat important social message sung by an immigrant and it was produced by Mikolas Josef's guru Boris Carloff, who is also co-responsible for Jakub Ondra's Space Sushi and probably also for Pam Rabbit's song, if I assume correctly that she submitted something else than Try. Also, Jara's big sad eyes look a lot like # 3 on the second photoset. Most people guess it's Jan Bendig, but maybe not. The only piece of puzzle that can't really fit my little theory is that On My Knees is almost 4 minutes long.

To make it even more suspenseful, I also noticed that Žofie Dařbujánová, a frontwoman of Mydy Rabycad whom I previously guessed as a possible # 6 on the first set, unexpectedly released a solo EP and renamed herself Zofie Dares. So, even if Lake Malawi is THE band, she still could be one of the entrants.

David Stypka is quite corpulent and I don't see any man with his body constitution on the first clue photoset. But theoretically he could be author of a song performed by someone else.

Adding Thom Artway to one's friends can't hurt anyone. xcheer

Re: CZECH REPUBLIC 2019

We can always hope, but let's not forget that Jan Bors is Head of ČT's entertainment shows in general, not just of Eurovision. So if he is in touch with someone, it also could mean that he has some other job for them. For example, this Monday Thom Artway, Václav Noid Bárta and Debbi were spotted in a cute little ČT's jukebox musical, singing oldschool 1960s songs from repertoir of local pop icon Václav Neckář. :)

Bit of a faux pas from CT on that one... but looks like a very good line-up.

I see some of the acts have released 3-minute-ish songs in the last few weeks so I'm going to assume they might be the entries too...
