Someone from the other forum found out #3 is Hana Barbara. I think it's 100% looking at the photo below.

Interesting. Only yesterday I found out that Jan Bors, Kryštof Šámal and czecheurovision all follow this totally unknown girl on Instagram, so I checked her out and... well, perhaps she wouldn't be a bad choice, actually. She seems to be an interesting character and she definitely has a strong voice. So, if I assume correctly that her entry would be Mayday, I am OK with it, under one condition - she must sing it in English. Call me an autist, but I seriously can't stand clumsy wannabe-rhymes like "je den/devět", "ráda mám/se sama" or "neřvi/věř mi". WTF is that? But I believe the melody itself has a potential. Can't wait to hear professional version of it.

I've wanted Jakub Ondra to represent the Czech Republic for a while now and finally, he has big chances to make my wish come true but at the same time, he submitted one of his weakest tracks to date.
Tbh, I do like the concept a bit (even though it's bland and generic) but Jakub's voice is "too distinctive" to make such electronic tunes appealing. He would have been way better off with a singer-songwriter-ish track like "Every Song" and with a guitar.

Do you really think the lyrics wouldn't be clumsy wannabe-rhymes in English as well? I think Czech would be better, at least only Czechs will understand that the lyrics are bad.
And I really hope there are some songs in Czech language in the NF. I think it's about time we send a song in our native language again.

I would love to hear some Czech again but since you country "only" managed to qualify for the final with two English entries (which also sounded very international), I guess that we will get the same thing all over again; especially since Jakub Ondra's entry is basically a wannabe Mikolas 2.0.

Generally, I am skeptical to Czech lyrics in Eurovision, because I strongly believe that right Eurovision song should have a sing-along quality. That's possible with English, French or Italian, but certainly not with Czech, unless the refrain consists of "la-la-la" or something like that.
And for the other thing - once I was taught by someone on this forum that when rhymes in English sound too similar, it feels like a nursery rhyme. On the contrary, an ideal of all Czech lyricists is absolute rhyme (like "jsou to koně mí / soutok oněmí"), and general consensus is that at least two last syllables must sound the same, unless one wants to look like an illiterate imbecile. So, hearing such deviations as the ones in Mayday makes me cringe like crazy.
I can only envy all the lucky listeners who don't understand the lyrics. Space Sushi is like William Shakespeare's sonnet in comparison.
However, the melody of Mayday potentially could have the sing-along quality I am talking about, so I don't want it to be ruined by unpassable barriers like "Neřvi/věř mi" and other tongue-twisters.
BTW, do we have any informations about Thom Artway? I was like 95% sure the man on picture #2 must be him and few days ago, Thom posted on his InstaStory a cover of his upcoming single called "Can't Wait", so I thought "this must be it". On the other hand, Jan Bors & co. don't follow him on IG, which is a bad sign. :?

Preach! I think it's time to bring the Czech language back imo.
It's cute to go international, but your language would definitely open new horizons, both musically and impact-wise in your country.

Unfortunately, last year "Fly" was 50/50 to me: the melody and arrangements were ok, but the lyrics were awful and overall it wasn't that original despite aspiring to be a LoveWave relative. Noid Bárta could have done better composition-wise, I wonder if he wrote another song this year.

With Eva Burešová it's the same as with Thom Artway or Tereza Mašková - it's a rumor and wishful thinking, but nobody knows if they really are in the game or not. If Eva would participate in the NF, this time she could be a potential contender. She is now much better known and more popular than last time thanks to her consistently solid performances in recent season of tv show Your Face Sounds Familiar.

Based on the published photos I think Adam Misik, Hana Barbara, Pam Rabbit and Tereza Masková will be in the national final. And I have no idea who the other four are.
