I'm in love with the choreography (Even the jerky bits lol). This song was not on my radar but the live staging elevated it and Silia slays for being only 17.

Song is ultimately a load of nothing, but it has a proper pulse, a proper hook and the staging is well done. I am completely fine with this stuff in the final. If this is your baseline you will have a good show going.

Vocally this was very bad. Only because of the staging we will see this in the final again.

Very good performance, I hope she manages to get a left side, that would be amazing

Great work :cy: - everyone was predicting NQs for this one, but I have thought it from the first listen - this was an outstanding example of a well written, well performed pop song by a young lady that is experienced beyond her years - glad to see it perform so well!

And also happy to see the :12: exchange is still alive with Greece, even if it's only in the televote ;)

They cheated once again (the dream team)

I'm sorry but there's no way that Silia got more votes from the Slovenian public than Serbia (who has a huge diaspora here), France, Switzerland or even Sweden (Marcus and Martinus are known here).

And we also gave 8 points to Stefania and Amanda, who surprise surprise were also under the dream team.

This was the truly winner. The best song of the year. Well done Cyprus.

Before rehearsals I was wondering why Cyprus was trading at such low odds for qualification. Then I saw people in the bettng community pointing to the dream team and saying its probably them betting on Cyprus while buying votes.
Looking at the results, the voting from Moldova and Azerbaijan looks extremely suspicious. With a televote magnet from Ukraine, the 12 should have gone to Ukraine, but it went to Cyprus.
So in the semi Cyprus beats Ukraine in the moldovan televote. In the final Ukraine is first in the moldovan televote while Cyprus falls to an 18th place. Makes no sense.

She ended up way higher than expected but deservedly. The song is indeed null and void, but she did a good job, very fresh and enjoyable. She was undoubtedly the best out of the Eleni Foureiras of the year, and yes Cyprus delegation knows how to disguise an uninteresting song into a good entry !

The final outcome was within my expectations. Still not a fan of the song but it had its audience, and that has to be respected. I think, she gave the best she could given the circumstances and :cy: can be satisfied with this outcome.
