That’s my favorite word in english! What a serendipity to meet someone else who likes it too :ROFLMAO::love: I know the use in this context is likely questionable but I couldn’t help myself.

About Croatia: I am torn on this entry. I want to love it but no matter how hard I try, it ends up being unappealing to me.

This is why many people believe that when they sing "Mama loved a moron" in MamaŠČ! they actually troll Angela Merkel for appeasing / loving Putin. Also @lasse braun and @Mainshow

My first reaction was confusion; I didn't expect this! Well... If something, Croatia entertains us differently and originally this year... It definitely stands out from the rest... But the song itself, it's not really my cup of tea.

That's interesting, I remember Boris saying something like that about the russian invasion but he was actually paraphrasing Winston Churchill, "an appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."

I haven’t set my vote in the poll yet.
I‘m torn between this is genius or bullshit.

I do think the message is so important and why not use a platform like Eurovision!
On the other hand - if everyone did that we soon have a lot of songs with a hidden political message.

Musically, it’s the same.
It’s intentionally ridiculous - do we really want that in Eurovision? Not really.
On the other hand it’s almost a piece of art, reminds me a bit of Queen‘s Bohemian Rhapsody, which also has these crazy changes in style included.
But then again, Mama SC is less catchy and the melody isn’t as appealing as Bohemian Rhapsody.

I don’t know. Let me think about it for another day…
