I think that bookies think too much about what people see, but when it comes to music - people don't vote for what they see, they vote for what they feel (and hear, of course).
I was thinking about this and ok, Mans last year was pleasant to the eyes, himself + visual effects, but the lyrics were also good. We are the heroes of our time...I'd say this is a good message...although I didn't like the song that much, I felt that message.
Sergey doesn't have this message. His lyrics are average at best...if anyone feels anything during his performance, it is fear that he'll fall. I was really scared while watching that performance, like a lighter version of Killer Karaoke.
That is probably the same reason why Greta didn't qualify...ok song, great visuals...but it was a bit confusing to watch, even for me who knew lyrics by heart. Too dark, who is calling her, what kind of problem she actually has...?
Georgia - in an ocean of ballads, of course this got through. People were feeling amused, and they were waiting for that like one would wait for a little bit of wind on a hot summer day.
So, I think people feel Nina's song because of her strong voice, and that wow moment when she sings "there in the skyyy". The lyrics don't hurt. And that's why I believe she will not be in bottom 5. It just wouldn't be fair, even in this strong final.
