That's not funny, but still... I don't get it: who submitted Croatia's application? Since if one applies to participate, one is supposed to have at least some interest in the contest. As it is, it seems like a mess tbh, why bother participating then? :? I mean I'm glad you're back, but there seem to be a serious lack of interest from people who are in charge of Eurovision at HRT.

I still think that not even officially stating your participation was incredibly strange, as if you were forced to take part.

I only hope that Nina and her team are the serious one in this case. I have faith in her, not in HRT. And for the first part of the question... I think EBU wanted as much as more countries this year and maybe we got a discount.

They still didn't make a team for Eurovision. It seems that Mesar is one of those guys who accepted this job only because it's a free 2 weeks vacation, and no one from the previous structure from project Eurovision wants to work with him.

I am from Croatia but I would be terrified if what you say is true.
To me it seems impossible that they are so irresponsible. You probably can not tell me how you got this info but are you sure that they have no team and that they can not make one. I just can not wrap my mind over this. You can not just be applied for contest and spend money. They must have a boss that is in control of everything there must be some structure on HRT. I know that they are fighting but someone must be in control and listened to.
Now after I saw what you have written 27th of February seems like a distant dream and impossible situation. We are not going to ESC 2016. We will have song, we will have singer, but we won't have anyone who could send her to Stockholm.

To make it easier for all of you lost people: "According to my informations, they are calculating with songs that other countries will choose, no need for pressure, everything will be on time. Many countries will announce their songs between 26th and 28th February. HRT (Nina) have 2 really good songs and they want to choose the one which will stand out from the other and have a bigger chance on the Eurovision. There's a 99% chance that they'll announce the song on 27th February in 'The Voice Croatia', that's the date when the duels start, or in a special show the day after. That's all you need to know. Be patient, they are doing well." (and the rest you already know)

I had this dream not long ago. Nina finally presented her song (along with the music video).

Can´t remember much about it, but I know that the song had this like dark, gloomy, kinda gothic wibe to it.

I know I liked it, but from what I recall, the response from fans was actually mixed (a lot of negative impressions at the beginning when it premiered).

We´ll see what is it actually going to be like.

So, for those you don't understand Croatian and they are lazy to C/P the link in Google Translate, here are the most important things:
- HRT is checking Nina's contract with UMG, maybe until the end of this week. After the checking, they'll announce Nina as our contestant.
- Nina's biggest dream is to compete on Eurovision and she's currently finishing her first album.
- UMG will probably split costs of Nina's journey to Eurovision and Stockholm.
- Nina's TVNGH mentor Jacques Houdek is thrilled that Nina's going and he served some shade on Daria Kinzer.
