Re: Creating new contest on the forum

xD your you proposed a new contest before argument is just weak. Should we always go with the idea which comes out first even if it bad. Should we change the whole way how the logic in society and court system for example goes so that the first person to suggest anything would have a priority? I could go for the 2 new contest option (not the randomly being a part of a lame contest with no connections though)
I just said that the two ideas have a right to be. But only separately. And if choose, explain what and why.

Sorry, but I think that Trece as a main organisator of this game, has right to choose.

Re: Creating new contest on the forum

How about having a few more small contests instead of this big 3rd contest (like other Eurovision forum)?

No one is saying that there's complete consensus right now, I'm completely aware of that. We still have to decide things for permanent good

A vote on the poll will definitely fix this issue :). This will be something that will be decided democratically.

Please do a poll with those two options (language or country contest) with arguments we offered why we think which option is better (in first post) because with conversations we obviously will never agree on this.
After this is decided, then other rules of contest can be discussed. ;)

Now let's come back to the situation where people demanded that the rules would be equal for everyone. That also includes the way how you make the rules which principle you are asking to drop now.

I just said that the two ideas have a right to be. But only separately. And if choose, explain what and why.

Sorry to say it, but your 3rd sentence makes no sense at all and i do not understand even what you are trying to say.

But who will particiapte for Uzbek language?
I would if I found a song I love in it :)

Yes, that ^^

There seems to be 2 camps here, those looking for a quick-fix solution to the FSC/NSC overcapacity problems and just want a new contest because they dislike the FSC/NSC rules, and those looking for a genuinely exciting, fresh, unique contest to discover music they never would have before. Take your pic.

Do we have to eliminate one of them? Language Song Contest could be a spin-off of the main one.

Let's get this cleared, at this point we are all equals in deciding the game. No one has any inherent advantage over another in deciding what game will happen, a vote will decide it for all of us.

I will set a poll, once people calm down a bit :)

a) the copy song contest could be a spin-off of the language song contest b) the concepts are fundamentally different. In one you have people base on language taking part in other based on countries. It wouldn't be like nsc or fsc where the same people would take part in spin-offs under the same nations. They simply have nothing to do with each other and would better be as 2 separate things than spin-offs of each other

If there is a poll, then it would be silly to post explanations which option is better - let the people decide!

Yes, let people decide. xup But let people to see why we are against/for some options. It is not explanation which option is better. That are arguments of both sides. ;) What is bad if they shorty lear arguments about we are discussing? :?

They're not that different. In both, you can change your country/language in a few (whatever it's decided) editions.

Btw, in FSC spin-offs you can change your country. Only rule is there must be one juror for each country.

a) You can't decide it by yourself.
b) As you said, this game should not be copy of FSC or NSC, so it can be different.Spin-off and main contest can differentiate from each other.

Re: Creating new contest on the forum

If you choose this or that contest (by the poll) will be harmed the rights of those whose contest is not selected

The more supporters of the Language Contest participating in the FSC and the NSC, and satisfied them, but new contest for the dissatisfied

a) So why can't i decide it myself, but you have nothing against Grinch deciding it himself/herself. Screaming discrimination.
b) Spin-offs would have to have to share the same fundamental ideas with the main contest... like they do in fsc or nsc but wouldn't in the proposed new solutions.
