Poli has a better song than in 2011. But this has "fan-favorite-to-fail" written all over it :(

Care to explain why?

I don't think this will fail. Perhaps it won't be in Top 10 but it will almost certainly qualify (Semi 2 is very weak and Bulgaria is in the second half of the semi) and this is not a failure for a country like Bulgaria. Bulgaria has qualified once so qualification this year will be a big success. I think it will end up like Slovenia last year (even though I would like Poli to win, but sadly it will be difficult for Bulgaria to compete with the overhyped likes of Russia, Azerbaijan, Sweden, etc.)

I think Bulgaria might do better than people are expecting now. I like this modern song and Poli is a good live performer.
What she now needs is the right staging. Poli got a new follower on IG: Fredrik "Benke" Rydman.
I hope this means he is her choreographer for ESC. With him in her team she could do a great show.
Anyway I'm looking forward see her performing the song live.

Best song this year! (not that that's an accomplishment considering how weak this year is but still)... I'm rooting for this, catchy indeed! But being Bulgaria (not one of the countries that have jury or diaspora help) I'm fearing it will struggle... crossing my fingers though!

O daj mi ljubovta, o daj mi ljubovta xmusic xcheer xheat

Good luck Bulgaria and welcome back!

Always a good sign when both of us like the same song.

I saw her performance at Riga Pre Party. She sings it quite well, it could be better but I think she was tired. She really enjoy her own song and it helps the viewers to pay attention. A bit of work needed and Poli will rock the stage.

Always a good sign when both of us like the same song.

I hope it's a good sign atleast, since we tend to have different taste I guess it's promising for the entry if both of us back it up...

Also, although most of the song is in English (though the catchiest part is in Bulgarian), I must say that this is a rare case of good bi-lingual. The Bulgarian parts melts into the English perfectly and nothing feels forced or strange, it just comes natural in this case.

So true, I catch myself singing the Bulgarian part sometimes, it works really well in the song.

TBH, I enjoyed Poli's live in Riga. She was very fresh and seems so happy to go back to the Eurovision stage. It was very heart-warming.
