Not necessarily semi 1 didn't have one last year.Semi 2 will have a least a shock NQ and at this point it seems to be Belgium. Unfortunately he doesn't have the range to do runs and adlibs so the final minute will sound repetitive as there is but a single lyric.
Last year was the most predictable imo, Georgia in semi 2 was the only shocking one (not that much after seeing the staging though). But semi 1 from 2023 was probably the most predictable ever, still Latvia would have knocked Serbia out if not for the neighbour voting, that would have been shocking for me.Not necessarily semi 1 didn't have one last year.
I can see this doing a Jeremie Makiese: looking like "it has something to offer" when it was released, disappointing vocals and charisma, still qualifying despite others tried more. And around 15th/22nd place in the final.
I agree, there is something about this entry that I can't warm to. It's his performance style. I felt it even when I saw the music video. Too overwrought/cheesy.For me the whole thing is getting more and more unlikeable, that preview is giving nq vibes.
Sadly I feel the same, it dropped so quick from my top 5. His live performances are such a turn-off for me idk whyFor me the whole thing is getting more and more unlikeable, that preview is giving nq vibes.
Norway or Italy perhaps? For the artistic level while not being boring. There goes my winner. Who the hell do I put in my first place now? I feel lukewarm on everything right now.
Yeah after watching all rehearsal clips again I've turned to NorwayNorway or Italy perhaps? For the artistic level while not being boring.
Some movements he does are so cringe, very like "yeah look this is bombastic" but the staging is just not really giving what he thinks it givesBased on rehearsal and prior clips, the performance is hard to watch. Rather self indulgent
