After having listened to this German commentary, I do understand their comments. I agree with the fact that a lot will depend on whether the emotion is felt by the audience at home on the tv-screen on the time of singing. Axel is very good live, I saw him at work in the Sportpaleis at Eurosong 2014 and I was very impressed, even though I found the song on CD not special. So we will have to wait and see :-)

La finale de The Voice Belgique aura lieu le lundi 5 mai | Médias - Télé - lesoir.be

The RTBF has decided to move the final of "The Voice" to monday 5th May. They will then broadcast the first semi-final on their first channel, "La Une".

Are there good candidates in this year's edition? Unfortunately, I'm not able to watch The Voice Belgique, nor the Flemish edition of The Voice on VTM. But I'm always nicely surprised by the quality of the participants who reach the last rounds.

A few. The favorite is currently Loic Nottet. Watch his last performance :

How many languages can you speak? And which? Do you like languages?

You are pretty amazing ! Eight languages !? xshock

I'm a French native speaker and you know us, don't you ? ;) We are so convinced that French is the most beautiful language in the world, that we don't bother learning others.

Seriously, I speak French fluently (of course...) ; Dutch, almost fluently and English, on a basic level.

But I've learned TWO dead languages ! :D Latin and Old Greek !

Well, I do like languages. :D But, don't worry, I don't speak them all at the same level. ;)

As you could read in my post I really adore French! It's indeed the most beautiful language in the world. :D I wish that I could speak French more frequently. It's not easy to find people with whom I can speak French. But I do my best, there are still a lot of expressions and vocabulary that I would like to learn.

Dead languages are very interesting  At university, I studied the evolution from Latin to French, it was the most interesting course I had. But I have forgotten a lot of details. Do you use your Latin or Old Greek sometimes?
