I think this guy is the love-child of Pasha Parfeny and Milan Stankovic.

I have to really disagree with the charismatic part. That's part of the reason I loved it so much. Her attitude and grace on the stage. When she reached that final chorus, it was like she had already won as she spread her arms out and gave that orgasmic expression. It was the most epic thing overxheat Everything I love about Eurovision in one song. You'd never get anything like it outside of the contest. Utterly magnificentxbow

Eeek...
Ooooooookkkkkkkkkk

Inane lyrics, horrid English accent, outdated melody. Yes, that's Belarus alright.

As I already wrote yesterday, "Via lattea", "Fly away" and "Not what I´ve been looking for" were my favorites in yesterday´s NF.

TEO´s "cheescake" is real trash - as expected from Belarus ^^ But after listening to it a few times - also before the NF - I kinda like it. So 7 points from me in the poll.

I think the song is really good. It's an obvious Robin Thicke ripoff, but it's pulled off really well. It's funky.

The only thing is, well, it's... well, it's called cheesecake. That just completely undercuts the whole cool sexy thing it's going for. Makes me love it more.

I have a feeling, though, that you need particularly good English to be aware of how ridiculous calling a song Cheesecake is. Maybe the name won't be a problem in May.

I still can't get my head around this. This can't be real, can it? God can you imagine if this is the one year where Uncle Luka doesn't interfere and this is actually the song they send to Copenhagen. I can't actually believe that this is what they're sending, I'm convinced it's all an elaborate joke by BTRC and the EBU and all the Eurovision websites. Jon Ola Sand is going to pop up on Twitter now going "April Fools!" or something and tell us all that a real song won. Unbelievable!

Don't get the hate towards this song. Definately not something great, but it's not bad either. Malta's song last year wasn't better than that and still managed to achieve a result to be proud of.

It would be funny, if Latvia would choose Aarzemnieki with Cake to bake. Then Latvia would cake the bake and Belarus already have it :D

Song number 7, "Cake to bake"
Song number 8, "Cheesecake"
And who knows if the line wouldn't continue, considering all the countries that haven't revealed their songs yet

Yeah, baby…

Once I gave you one more chance
You showed me dance
But I’m not Patrick Swayzee
You’re not Jennifer Gray

I told this story
But I’m so sorry
I lost my train of thought
When you called me, “My sweet Cheesecake”

I don’t wanna be your toy boy today
I’m not gonna be your boyfriend
It’s too late
I look over Google maps trying to escape
’cause I’m tied up in your sweet cheesecake

I don’t wanna be your toy boy today
I’m not gonna be your boyfriend
It’s too late
I look over Google Maps trying to escape
’cause I’m tied up in your sweet cheesecake

Ohh…yeah…do-do-do-do

Hey I will fy far away
By any plane just not to meet you
On my way, don’t stay, hay

You dial my number
Your dreams start crumbling
You want me to be the man I’ll never ever be

I don’t wanna be your toy boy today
I’m not gonna be your boyfriend
It’s too late
I look over Google Maps trying to escape
’cause I’m tied up in your sweet cheesecake

I don’t wanna be your toy boy today
I’m not gonna be your boyfriend
It’s too late
I look over Google Maps trying to escape
’cause I’m tied up in your sweet cheesecake

Ohh….yeah…do-do-do-do

I don’t want to be your toy
I don’t want to be your boy
Oh, oh

I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna be your toy
I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna be your boy

Yeah

I don’t wanna

I don’t wanna be your toy boy today
I’m not gonna be your boyfriend
It’s too late
I look over Google Maps trying to escape
’cause I’m tied up in your sweet cheesecake

I don’t wanna

Shouts about changing at least text xrofl2

The melody is not that bad actually, but the lyrics are uzhasno. They should re-write the song from scratch.

Also, I highly dislike songs with references to actors and singers or other living persons.

The lyrics are definitely not deeply poetic with masterful twists of the english language. But apart from the word "cheesecake" (my favourite cake in the world), I dont find the lyrics much worse than that of most ESC up-tempo songs. To be honest the melody and the performance dont crave very "deep" and sophisticated lyrics imo.
Dont get me wrong, I really like it when I find the lyrics really good, but it is not always necessary for me to like a song...
