How come, so many say that it "ain't bad", common, it's Horrible for cryin out loud. It's the type of song that ONLY works in Eurovision Song Contest, since this yearly event have a habbit of having at least a few "joke" entrys
erm...but this IS eurovision song contest :D
the point is in songs that work on esc so who cares if it flops on charts, there's plenty of radio/club hits and there's no need to search for 1 here as well

Because people may like it? I like it for one so the "it's horrible only works in ESC" is simply your opinion.

I love Belarus and this song! :D But It is like Belarussian national anthem, maybe this will be a minus in the contest but It doesn't disturb me. Good luck! :)

Why do I like this song? I've really no idea... And yet I do! Classic Eurovision (and everything that means).

Belorus has been accused of plagiarism. here is the source.

I do not know what to say. :?

Oh no, not again!
I can hear similarities, but still it sounds as a very different song to me. Hope it isn't stolen and just a coincidence, because is very difficult to make an original song these days.
From which country is the other song? I can't read it!

Good song by Belarus, but maybe too "nationalist". Has a chance to go into the Final, but it will be a strong competition. Anastasia has a strong voice, hope she'll do better in LIVE.

The song isn't bad, I even like the music;), but the meaning of the lyrics....hm ok, it is patriotic song, I see that but I am not sure that ESC is a contest where such lyrics are welcomed now....
I just wonder myself what would happen if, for example, we send a song with such or similar words? Or anybody else. We would be immediately called as 'narrow minded', 'nationalists' or so....

Anyway, good luck.

I do not know what to say. :?

I don't think it is plagiarism. There are some similarities, but on the global music market of today it is hard to find a song which doesn't have something "in common" with some other random song. Every year we have such accusations, but I am certain that nothing will be done.

And btw, I still majorly dislike this song. Totally cheap, flat and monotone.
