And it didn't stop there. Not only did a hardstyle track qualify to the final, it even won the semi final with more than 30 points more than the second song (which in return won the final, so I guess I was in the right semi). In-f***ing-credible. And seeing people cheer for Balearica Island in the result show was also amazing, never thought that would happen.

So that means I'm PQ for NSC 71, and I should probably pick something special for this occasion. Then again, all my entries are special in some (often bizarre) way, so I'm not sure. What I do know, is that it won't be hardstyle, despite the recent success.

There's been a while since Balearica Island sent trance now, so for this edition, it's gonna be a vocal trance song. American trance legend BT recently released a new album, and this song, which features Kirsty Hawkshaw on vocals, is one of the songs on that album. So from Balearica Island, here's BT feat. Also, for the BIFC (the Balearica Island Fan Club), I've made a YT playlist with all the BI entries. 3 of the videos I used had to be replaced tho, as the originals have been removed from YouTube.

Despite all the stars, it's now back to earth for Balearica Island, which gave me an idea for another future entry. However, I got something else planned for the next edition. Scottish producer Drums Of Death teamed up with the English producer Mumdance, and created Mums Of Death for an EP together. And from that EP, here's Golden Axe:
Don't do drugs, mkay? Drugs are bad.

After 3 months of silence, I figured it's time for an update. Golden Axe ended about where I expected it to. The 2 entries after that were these:
Starchild - Starchild is often mislabeled as a Dune track. One of my old favorites.
Paul van Dyk feat. Hemstock & Jennings - Nothing But You. Might seem as an ordinary trance tune, but it's kinda special. Despite not being made by a Norwegian producer, the lyrics are all Norwegian.
And here's the next entry:
Balearica Island's first entry that's not related to EDM at all. :shock: "Weird Al" Yankovic - Albuquerque. I've been a fan of "Weird Al" for a long time, and this song is one of my absolute favorites. I even learned 98% of the lyrics, but a lot has been forgotten of it. So... Our first non-electronic entry failed hard. Actually a bit surprised that it failed as hard as it did, because I felt it had a few things in common with Catfight. Interesting video and lyrics. This makes the Catfight result even more surprising tho.
So then it's back to the electronic music. I recently got another favorite band, who combines hiphop and rock, and it sounds awesome. However, I also found a club mix of one of my favorite tracks of this band, and that will be the entry for NSC 76. Hollywood Undead - Levitate (Digital Dog Club Mix):
