Azerbaijan are the most corrupt country in the competition there is nothing you can do to ever convince me otherwise of that factnot this
There is no established link between the individuals in the video which circulated back in 2013 and the Azerbaijani delegation, the Azerbaijani act or the Azerbaijani public broadcaster Ictimai TV. And this is taken directly from the EBU statement, it's not my personal opinion.
And there are at least 10 countries in ESC with greater GDP than Azerbaijan. When the source is oil somehow you think it's an undeserved earning while we both know where most Western countries' wealth comes from
Back to our topic,
I personally think it's nearly impossible to organize such a mega scale fraud without getting caught. Based on the allegations, there must be thousands of people involved in this, in the course of 6 years. Someone would have definitely rejected the offer and expose everything.
Because Azerbaijan does lots of dark stuff in their foreign diplomacy (see: caviar diplomacy) and it always gets exposed. Eurovision would not be an exception to this.
I think they sent amazing entries between 2008-2013 and each were rewarded based on the song's merit.
But y'all will like to bring this aged debate back to the table over and over, cuz you want to believe in what you want to be true. We call that shortly.... delusion
Well at least @Looren would make it happy then.we're looking at a Germany 2022
