Azerbaijan, you never disappoint me!
This is surprisingly pleasant. If the Beatles were stuck in the 90s, they would do exactly this. I love it! :10:
lol, after all the comments here I expected nothing and got such a gift xheart
This year we both seem to agree on so many songs! xheart I really like this song and I choose this over other fan favorites! Yes, it has a nostalgic vibe, but a good one. I hope the twins can deliver live and surprise. For now :8:! xlove

Semi1 was in desperate Need of a Nonqualifier, so thanks I guess.

VERY different for Azerbaijan. Much more western (British/American) in its sound. Can't put my finger on the exact influences here, but I do like it, actually. I sense a general feel of authenticity from these lads, so that's good. Could have done without the rap, though.

Good luck, Azerbaijan.

It stands out nicely. It's a 6.

It's more likely that it NQ's that Q's. Sort of like Latvia.

First of all - WOW! Azerbaijan surprises me this year, in a pleasant way.
Second WOW - this thread is so diverse about it. Whitch is a good thing for that entry in my opinion :) Usually these kind of entries will end up the very bottom or very high in the final. And atm, I'm not convinced that AZ will be a sure NQ. Actually, qualifing seems quite possible, although it's SF1 we're talking about.
Ok, there is a lot of competition genre wise in there (Ireland, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands), but this song has something... Can't pinpoint what exactly.
Personaly, I like it a lot. Already in my ESC Best of 2023 playlist. I hear Germany 2022 (the rap part) and of course, Sixpence None the Richer (which I LOVE VERY VERY MUCH!). So it's quite my cup of tea.
A big and solid :10: from me!

For me that´s unevenful and boring backgroung music, better suited for the credits of a movie. I give :az: a :3:, it "exists" but nothing more. xbored

Did the Azeri delegation actually think this entry is ESC competitive? I always like the fact that Azerbaijan always give their all when it comes to ESC. But this year, it feels like they are just couldn't care less. Or is it they thought they can garner some UK votes by choosing a song that is so close to the host nation's sound because they are competing in it.
