I got a feeling Azerbaijan may do a Austria last year, coming nowhere and end up doing very well. I also have a gut feeling the juries will respond well to this song, especially to Chingiz mugham's flourishing in the song. This needs to qualify.

Even "Truth" was overlooked before the rehearsals.

He is currently no. 5 on the odds, before the rehearsals he was no. 13. This is getting all exciting. I love it when an entry comes out of nowhere and rise up, especially it's one of my favourite entries (he is my no. 2 after Michela).

It's really extraordinary how Azerbaijan has made an 8-place leap from 13th to 5th in a matter of half an hour. While it's 12th in my ranking I have high hopes about this especially after that trainwreck from last year. Greece, Iceland, Azerbaijan and North Macedonia have looked to their past mistakes and have improved sending their strongest entries in years. I wish all the best to Chingiz and the rest of the team.
