Amazing!! I am worried about his vocals transitioning from the verses to the chorus back to the verses. But it seems like he will do fine.
The delegation is really smart to do the acoustic version with the backing vocals and give him the required support.

Now bring on the staging! I believe Chingiz is ready to go!! So exciting!!!

I said it before that it'd sound much more ethnic in the live version, watching the unplugged version I'm more convinced that he'll pull a mugham style singing in the bridge and it will sound amayyyyyzing!

I do like this song, I wonder if it's too repetitive at times. Looking forward to seeing it live :) If he makes the final I'll probably vote.

If he and his team manage to nail the vocals like what they did in the unplugged video during rehearsals, I wonder if Azerbaijan will be the dark horse of this year's competition. I mean like Russia, Azerbaijan rarely fails in the staging department. So if all things are aligned right this time, I think Azerbaijan could do very well.

Chingiz confirmed to İHA (a turkish news agency) that he will sing mugham through the end of the song, and that the staging will be sth never seen before at ESC. He added that he will wave Turkish flag if he wins. Coreography, vocals and staging are just as he wanted them to be.

Interesting. But why should he wave the Turkish flag? He is not Turkish isn't he? Although Azerbaijan and Turkey have friendly ties.
But then again he won't win, so that won't happen. LOL.

To put it more clearly, he will wave flags of both :az: and :tr:
Nigar&Eldar brought Turkish flags with them to the stage during the reprise when they won, and it was highly appreciated in Turkey.
As the news will be published in Turkish media, I guess he's going for those Turkish diaspora votes in Europe :D

What do you mean? Totally a normal thing to insist on carrying a country's flag that you have no personal ties to. No, certainly no political motives there, no sir.

The real reason for this is almost entirely political. There is a common saying, "iki millet, bir devlet", which means one nation, two states -- it's a Pan-Turkic trope that has darker, much more racist implications than "we're similar to each other!" Essentially, they have a common enemy and they never miss an opportunity to remind each other of that.

Don't know why Chingiz keeps tagging wiwibloggs in his instagram stories. Clearly the 2 main faces of the team dislike the song. I hope Chris gets to interview him instead of that 2 persons who dislike his entry. And I barely see them promoting Azerbaijan on their blog. Those 2 persons clearly get on my nerves most of the times.

I just hope it's not Iceland 2016 (love Greta and the song, to me, it's still the biggest crime in ESC history) because we know how it ended.
I am so excited for his performance plus Malta's. My top 2.

^^ Are those white things robots? Please not.

They look more like cameras tbh. Probably something fancy going to happen.
