It's not all about a country -Azerbaijan- which borrows Margaret from Poland.
Indeed, if Margaret would sing for Azerbaijan, it wouldn't change her way of singing nor her attitude on the stage.
Despite having the opportunity to sing for a country which isn't such underrated as Poland.... erm... I'm not sure she would do well due to the fact that her voice doesn't fit in the criterion of a powerful/flawless performance in live.

About the audition, I don't think it is actually THAT bad. It is obvious that she selected a hard song, that is on a higher note than she is capable of. With a more simple song, in a lower note, than it might work out live.
