The last 2 years the songs have been there (just as good as their successful ones) but the performances haven't. The vocals were off, not well covered by the backing, and the presentation wasn't as smart and slick either. The trapeze and two dancers were distractions and not helpful additions at all

Compare the overall presentations of the last 2 years and the years before that and its like night and day. Like new people are in charge and they don't quite know what to do.

Which is actially true. A new group of people has been in charge since 2014.

Guys, do not expect anything special, most probably it is going to be just meh.

I really like all of Azerbaijans entries, except from that in 2008... 2012 and 2014 are my favourites btw.. Dilara was robbed

That's where we disagree. I found Dilara utterly boring. I wouldn't even have her in the final.

Well I felt it was the n-th version of the same song, heard a hundred times before. But I noticed a lot of people liked it.
