Vocally this was all over the place.
I had a feeling an evergreen would fail, and that was :az: - I do like the song but oh gosh, the vocals!

The truth is that :az: suspiciously passes every single year, regardless of how bad their singers are (:az: 2014 and :az: 2016). Before 2014 they became famous because of the fact that they were cheating. I don't see any other possibility this year as well. I would understand if Samra qualified from semi 2, but semi 1 was too strong. There is no way juries would vote for this over, let's say, :is: and there is no way that the public would vote for it as well (keep in mind that :az: didn't do well in the televoting in last two years).

Unlike you, I don't speak based on things have no proof at all. And I have no intent to argue with you because it would be monologue communication. So go cry on internet everywhere that Azerbaijan cheats and then qualifies. That's the best thing you can do. :lol:

Haters of who?

I don't see any haters. Just people disappointed with the fact that a good but badly sung song has qualified instead of some talented vocalists who gave their all to deliver astonishing performances.

Iveta used the flag Nagorno-Karabakh during her performance and got asked why did she do such a thing. Iveta said something about love for motherland blah blah. Later on, when it came Samra's turn to answer press questions, an Azeri journalist started a whole speech about that region (Nagorno-Karabakh) being Azerbaijani. As I said, the Endless Drama.
