I have to agree with Adel I'm afraid. I was expecting :12: from :mt: and was really shocked you got nothing there when you have for years now and with some similar songs to this one. Not a single point was a bit fishy (yes I know the irony of what I just said )

Too bad this didn't happen last year instead of this one. Seriously underrated.

 and the bigotry continues.
When you are coming up with something you are supposed to be the person to do the proving. But since you only want to ramble here, go ahead and do it. I don't take any of this serious

Oh, but it's just a theory xshrug I THINK that Azerbaijan bought the votes, and you are SURE that they didn't. That's quite a big difference.

Since it's a theory as you claim it to be, then it's not sure which gives me a free pass to be sure. ;)

If you can't prove it, you can't say it's a sure thing ;)

I agree. You can't prove it so you can't say it's a sure thing. Therefor I don't have to consider it a sure thing. ;)

To all those haters of Azerbaijan -take a look what EBU did to us this year. They were blocking the tele-voting for Azerbaijan in almost all the countries. Azerbaijan is 22nd with 100% tele-vote. Now look at the tele-voting only results for each country on eurovision.tv - In Belgium - Azerbaijan is 26th in tele voting. There are many Turks and Azeris living in Belgium- I would never ever believe that we were last in tele-voting, at least 21st, 22nd...In Hungary, Estonia, Germany, Greece we were ranked 25th in tele-voting, again the same thing-many Azeris living there. I can give you lot of examples..In almost all the countries with 100 tele voting Azerbaijan was between 20-26 in tele-voting, it is just impossible taking into account our diaspora and Turks living in Europe. I think we should submit an official complaint to EBU to give an explanation of how it is possible. I see it this way: We were ranked quite high in 100 % jury voting, that happened on Friday- EBU saw the result and wanted to 'punish' us. Unless the EBU gives us explanation, we should leave the contest where results are being fixed

WHAT HAPPENED HERE?

Actually, I'll tell you what happened - that performance. I don't blame solely Dilara for it, although she didn't help, but the problem was the staging. I said it as soon as I saw the rehearsal, the staging did not do the song justice. The song deserves something intimate and atmospheric, not an acrobat prancing around. They should've kept the idea from the video with dark background and a piano. As it was, it seemed so messy and unstructured. It lost all its appeal. Even I couldn't get into it, and I LOVE the song.

Still, I'm surprised it did THAT badly. :(

The vocal was fine, I know the words weren't understandable but that doesn't matter as few people bother with the lyrics in Eurovision. She sold the melody perfectly well. There could have been a bit more to the staging I thought the acrobat would do a bit more really. But it did have some interesting angles at times. Eurovision is pretty shallow and it could have come down to the fact that she wasn't as striking looking as some of the other singers.

I voted for Dilara and wanted her in top 10 where she and the song truly belongs. So sad for the bad result and I agree with WhoKnows, it's more the team behind her that failed rather than Dilara herself. Her vocals were not on top on either nights and I guess the confusion and disharmony in the act affected her performance. They were never bad though. Hope and wish the best for her.

Lol first time your country doesn't end up in the top 10 you're ready to leave the contest... talk about bad losers

It is one person' s opinion simply. Nobody is going to leave it. Most people think that even the fact that we made it to the final is still a miracle

I have to inform you that in Greece the Azeris are really really few if they exist, cause the only time that I met Azeris was in a boxing contest and I have never heard anyone talking about Azeri diaspora in Greece. Also the televoting for Azerbaijan wasn't block here cause I voted for Azerbaijan and they send me back a messange thank me for my votes

Shocked at the result, (in a positive way)

I didn't get the song. Can't say it's a bad song or anything, I just never liked it but I assumed that it would do well because it's Azerbaijan or something, and the lowest it could end up was 11-15.

I think it was the worst performance of the evening.
I hope Azerbaijan can bring back a good act one of a kind like they did in 2008.
