There are many countries with huge amounts of songs and a poor outcome in the end. as far as I understood the austrian approach is different since there are the scouts who proactively approach artists and filter out songs in advance. I think the number of songs in the selection was much lower in the previous years, nevertheless we had some good songs esp. in 2018, 2022 and 2023 ( i will not start talking about the stagings .....).

Don't know if the rumor is true (read it on a German Forum), but apparently the act will presented on January 16th, the song will be released in March.

Someone on Twitter read in an Austrian newspaper that the artist will be announced this week (2nd week of January)

It was a dream about the announcement of the act. But in previous years I also had dreams about the actual song contest with results etc but I never managed to remember any details in the morning haha.

This year he/she reincarnated into Laura Poldvere1944 aunt and moved to Finland. Maybe now he/she comes back again and spoils us the artist. Have faith.

Yes but where is the rumor from?

She would be a horrible choice tbh. I watched a bit of Starnacht in summer (hahaha) and if I remember correctly she performed there and it felt totally amateurish.
