Now it is official that the Austrian act will be announced next week, probably monday or tuesday. The act is female and the song is "different" like Eberhard Forcher wrote on fb this morning.

„different“ is the little brother of „awful“… the third sibling in that trio is „interesting“

Well. His dream sounded more exciting than the reality. He almost sounded frustrated that it was only a dream. Poor female act. She needs to compete with Forscher's dream act.

Please can we finally get a new selection process next year. You can really tell that by now Forcher has pretty much lost track. I mean okay let’s wait for this years song before judging too hard but „different“ and „very feminine“ what does this even mean? I don’t want a different song (at least not in ORF terms). This sounds like the #1 choice didn’t happen once again and now we’re getting something like Penda again. Back then ORF has also been overenthusiastic about this „totally different“ song.

But well, let’s wait and see. This of course means that we won’t get VOA.

It's his private Facebook Page i dont necessarily think he primarily meant this as "official information". Its not a press Statement just something personal (And he likes to talk a lot in general)

I'm so confused, he had a dream that a much better act came around the corner and he didn't know how to replace the act they currently have? If this was about me I would feel quite hurt and consider quitting. Private account or not, why would you post this?

Forcher is not the only Scout involved so i wouldnt blame (just) him.
And maybe "VERY feminine" will make sense once the act is revealed...

Well we can agree on „a risky choice anyway, no matter which song they would have chosen“ (looking at her other songs) - yes, maybe decent with a different song but who knows

Somehow I got the feeling that the dream is a purposeful fabrication as some kind of hint and we‘re meant to put the puzzle pieces together. I have no knowledge about Forcher‘s usual behavior so I can’t know, but I just can’t fathom any other reason for why it’s there. Surely he must know that the dream story would otherwise be useless at best and hugely disrespectful at worst.

For me the song was just boring and her high and squeaky voice very painful.
