haha well i actually liked nobody but you - instantly. i wasn't a fan of cesar though, i always find him kind of lifeless. but yes if u have the impression that i'm struggleing with the songs that get chosen for austria then u are right...

I didn't like Vincent's song last year and I kinda like it more this year but it's still a bit bland. It can be a grower but Austria set the bar high with Cesar Sampson and this simply is not the best they can do

I also liked Cesar's song instantly and I am struggling to understand why Symphonix is not speed dial. And he got less negative scores than Vincent got already, but the reception was also quite meh and he was mistreated by fandom a lot. The underestimation of Austria is a tradition, because we don't serve slutpop nor bops.

well it doesn't need to be symphonix for me, i think austria may not have "slutpop or bops" but we have a great indie-scene that is on the border to mainstream pop, i think this is where they should dare to search for...

This song would fit perfectly into the soundtrack one of these Bridget Jones movies 15 years ago. This is not bad, but not my thing entirely. The melody and his voice are pretty but I would not be listening to it on my own rather. 6/12.

By reading you , everyone here puts 12 points to this entry, but every one of my friends tells me it's a big letdown .. I'm waiting for the official release to watch and react to it, but i'm looking forward to it

Until the last chorus I kinda like this song, his voice sounds really good and I also like the rhythm. But then the fial chorus appears on the horizon, and then it goes really downhill, it sounds a lot like a talent show winning title, and with the choir starting it starts to get very cheesy and off puting for me.

Since the last chorus ruins the song for me, I can give just .

I have the same exact issue, the ending drags the song down big time for time. If not of that I would give a generous 8 mostly fir his voice which I really like for some reason, but with that issue I can only give 6.

and I was right that some folks are dishing on the song because of us nasty Austrian forumers. I find it amusing. Love it, leave it, stay lukewarm or grow cold, for whatever reason, it doesn’t matter.

Are you from Germany? It's great though. If Switzerland delivers, we would have a strong DACH package, likewise the Nordics and Baltics.

Yeah I'm german and I don't think we are contributing anything to that package

After being able to listen to it:

Waaay better than Alive but it's not really my thing. I hoped for something more like "Nobody but you".
It's a for me. Doesn't leave much of an impact on me. Still better than our german entry though.

It already got the same number of 0 pts as alive and it's just beginning. That's interesting cause hey man is a bit better song, which means he is not generally accepted among ESC fans and belongs in category belarus and tix.

He performs in first half of sf, the verses are very boring, slow and quiet. I still think this will struggle to qualify even if it's weaker sf.
