Im wondering if Cesar will be a professional international Jurymember this Year like Nathan and Zoe one Year after their Participation. At least hes still in Contact with ESC.
If yes, I can imagine :se::az::mt: being his Top3.

since symphonix is involved it would not be ok if he would take part as a jurymember.

Report ORF farewell party for PÆNDA in Vienna tonight.

Song line up Evolution II:

I Like The Way You Hate Me
Like A Domino
Filler
Love Myself [Explicit]
Limits
So Loud
All The Right Things
Everything I'm Not
Wavebreaker
Stay For The Night
Outro

By the way, Andi Knoll is celebrating his 20th anniversary in Tel Aviv as commentator of the ORF. His first ESC was in Israel in 1999. Practically a homecoming for him.

Kathrin Zechner from the ORF: PÆNDA will win this. xrofl3

I mean being optimistic is fine but that is rather delusional on the verge of „fremdschämen“.

Look, Kathrin Zechner had the last word in deciding who represents Austria at the ESC. She must be the chief optimist!

Agreed, but as I said - this is a bit too much. She rises the expectations for the average ORF viewer way too high.

The comments on youtube oscillate between "biggest dark horse ever" and "this has no chance in the semis"....

My prediction: 1st to 41st

It’s difficult to make predictions, especially about the future

Paenda is completely lost in those Eurovision pre-party events. People are not paying attention and chatting, Paenda sings great, but she does not fit there. The only place where she can shine is on the TV stage.

Audience very respectful in Moscow:

Maybe it's the sound quality but she doesn't sound as good as usually. But I guess it's a very stressful week for her.

I like that the ORF really believes in PAENDA. But sometimes I think they rely too much on PANDA as an artist and not on «Limits» as a song. Viewers will probably not know or care if she wrote and produced the song herself or if she released her second album.

I think PAENDA's qualification or non-qualification is crucial for Austria in the ESC. I really want the ORF to make bold and devisive descesions in the future. In case of a non-qualification they'll probably call SYMPHONIX the next day. (Which is fine, but Austrias music scene has a lot more to offer.)

If you believe some Austrian media, then the ORF is facing a major restructuring by the goverment. It may be that Kathrin Zechner and the team around the current ESC decisions are no longer responsible in the near future. Hard to say what impact that will have on the selection of an artist/song.

To PÆNDA, let us see and hear how she sounds tonight at the Amadeus Awards and tomorrow at the Dancing show. OMG, that schedule is crazy.

Disappointed with Austria after Cesár. The song is very pretty but I don't see them qualify unfortunately.

She didn't sound awful nor flawless, her vocals were just on point. This still gives me goosebumps.

After the song presentation i was quite sure that Austria probably would not qualifiy this year. but now i am quite confident that we will see paenda in the final. a lot of things can happen, it could even be the dark horse again. But even if she gets last i would not mind. This year i am 100% confident with the decision of ORF. Tonight at the austrian music awards we will see that Austria has a very lively and interesting music scene. I hope Eberhard Forcher can convince one of them to represent ORF at the ESC 2020.

The new ORF management in 2020 will screw us over. I doubt they have interest nor know-how for success in Eurovision.

no need for fake news. neither it is clear that there will be a new management in 2020 (the management is in place until end of 2021) nor anyone knows who this management will consist of.

I just fell off my chair. Conchita with long hair and evening gown is back at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards.

The promotion video of the event showed something very different.
