Paenda is completely lost in those Eurovision pre-party events. People are not paying attention and chatting, Paenda sings great, but she does not fit there. The only place where she can shine is on the TV stage.

Of course it isn't a coincidence that the event contains the word "party" in it. Many people seem thinking that the event in May is the Eurovision Party Song Contest, but many winners in the past refute that completely.
I did not deal with this scene until just a year ago. I only saw the contest itself every year without hearing the songs before. It's a bit repulsive to take a closer look. I'm considering to leave the scene here completely and to deal with the contest as I did before.

I don't get it. Why are so many people against PÆNDAs song. While a self-written and self-produced song with a unique melody gets only 4/4.9/5 points, the song for United Kingdom for example gets way more. Although this song is cheaply produced, very generic and has nothing to do with the artist himself.

I noticed that especially middle-aged people react very strongly to Limits. Look at the blonde lady named Katie. I think it has to do with life experience. When I was younger I also thought that I'm invincible. That's not the case anymore.

Wouldn't read too much into that. Bigger Than Us is way easier to listen to than Limits, so of course it needs time to grow. And I actually agree with some of the points they mentioned: Limits is a brave choice, it lacks a clear progression throughout the whole song, while Bigger Than Us follows a more traditional path (soft, quiet strophes, big chorus). And the stretched "you"-part is really repetitive and not something unheard of in the ESC (looking at you, Amir and Robin Stjernberg), it can get annoying pretty quickly.

I had a similar experience when I listened to this song for the first time on March 8. It's a very relatable song for people who have been through a lot and who have quite some life experience already. I had struggled depression already three times and being asked by people for how I was, was a choice of putting on a fake attitude or getting unsolicitedly judged.
There are people outside who relate to this song and who will vote for it because for them it has significance. For me, it's equally emotional as Amar pelos dois.

Pænda: I would have liked them, but they refused. (laughs) But my sister goes along and does the backing vocals. It would be very strange to jump around on stage to the song. So it's getting quiet. But there is still much to clarify.
