I'm probably gonna be reiterating what a lot of people have said, but this song might, unfortunately, not do well because people are too distracted with the beard. It certainly takes a lot of courage to put up with all of the talk that's been milling around this entry. I personally really like this song, and best of luck to Conchita!

actually I pointed it out because people around the web are usually getting every criticism wrong ... you know. As I said ... I don't care about the beard, I don't care about his life-style, I don't care where he is from and I don't care about his sexuality. The song is good, never said anything else. Just because I don't like the attitude of Conchita and his attention-seeking-manner doesn't mean I'm trying to hide anything ... that's what you seem to think.
And btw ... Sido is just as horrible as Conchita ... well I guess even more

I never liked any Austrian Song the past, um, 20 years or so BUT I LOVE THIS SONG! It is absolutely great, a masterpiece, it's epic BUT it's special, maybe it won't be in everbody's liking, especially Conchita as a person. There are a lot of narrow minded people out there who won't like the idea of a "woman with beard", maybe he will lose some voters because of this. I hope he - sorry, she - won't as I would love to see it in the final, maybe even top 5!

I can't find anything wrong in seeking attention for tolerance. If that annoys you, that's your cup of tea.
