The whole package wasn't good at all. Didn't like his voice, the "do watchaaa want" got on my nerves as well.

Solid, never really goes anywhere tho, I am enjoying the verses more.
Not impressed by the mask trick coz I was familiar with his the voice audition, could work with those who arent.

Got to say tho... the fact thats hes fixing his hair 2 times at the end while singing an emotional song on the verge of crying...

I always think that giving null points to a song is disrespectful, there must always be something to rescue even in a messy nightmare of an entry… but sometimes there’s no other option but…

That felt like it had the emotional capacity of a toothpick. It tries hard to be super dramatic, emotional and deep feeling, with that ridiculous mask reveal feeling so cringe and fake as hell. Hes really so torn up about singing the same line over and over and over again?? Not to totally trash talk I don't think the song is that, bad but as a whole package it leaves me feeling incredible empty and unimpressed. It's too polished and try hard to hit that emotional core but at the same time I don't think it's a bad song. Just not one i'm interested in. It's giving very strong 2017 vibes tbh. Juries will probably lap it up, but the I can't see the televote being head over heels for it too much at all.

I really don’t know what to say about this.

First of all - that mask is scary. Please put it away. It doesn’t let you appear mysterious or something.

Second - your voice is incredible!

Third - stop being overdramatic, you‘re not the first one doing a Tom Odell vs Lewis Capaldi mash-up.

Last - damn, don’t stop being overdramatic since I‘m getting goosebumps and I feel you. I‘m a sucker for melancholic songs. But Poland does it better, sorry.

Ah, Australia has broken their streak of always bringing songs that were among my top favorites.

This is just... bad. Really bad. If not the worse so far this year, then close to it.

I will never put this on by choice, and skip it if/when it comes on coincidentally.
There is just nothing for me to like. No beat or rhythm I can follow. Just the same line repeated over, and over, and over, and over again the entire song.

A big fat no thank you from me.

I also am wondering about people believing that this end up high in the GF. I even doubt that he will make it there with that song. He is basically moping thru the whole song, with smoke and three huge fans behind him and singing "I am not the same" thru half of the song or even more. I doubt people will vote for this in the semi. Even the mask won't help.

Maybe it's because of the times we're currently living in but this is not reaching me emotionally at all and that's a shame.

I think because songs like "Not the same", and even more "I.M." are so extremly self centered and all a listener gets is ME ME ME ME ME ME. Don't get me wrong, empowerment is important but we had that in the 10's editions of Eurovision because it was also the zeitgeist and also an important message to the world.

But with a war in Europe and a still ongoing pandemic it's more about the things that connect us and brings people together. May it be sadness or joy.

Individualism feels a bit out of place and time.

Oh gosh, these three minutes were very hard to get through for me.

For me the only purpose of this bland talent show ballad is to show how good he can howl and how long he can keep the notes. Emotions?? Zero!! NADA!! The "hlighlight" with the mask removal looks rather ridiculous if you ask me. His voice is also much to whiny for me and to be honest I had gooesbumbs because it sounded so unpleasant.

Qualification for the final?? Sadly I think the juries will save this vocal gymnastics from dying in the semi, in the final it will hopefully crash and burn but I doubt it.

For me this is really the worst entry has chosen so far. There´s really nothing I like about it, actually it makes me feel bad, and for songs like this there´s only one possible score and this is a big fat !!

I would have thought you like it… After all it‘s in the genre you often seem to find favorites…
I mean Indidn‘t expect it to be one of your favorites, but points. That surprised me.
