Her career has basically been shelved due to the pandemic as well as the current heated debate regarding the Sony Music's Chief's abusive behavior. I guess she won't be working with Sony Music from now on which will massively hurt her since she's engaged to the chief's son or so? (If I recall it correctly). I mean, that was the reason why she was still under such a big label despite all her flops (robbed hits basically but we all know that the general public suck big time).

Anyway... personally, I think it's the right time for her to compete in Australia decides. She's still "known", very talented and has many songs ready to be released and she desperately needs some career opportunities right now.

Bounce was amazing, would've done well I reckon with the juries at least. Disappointed she wasn't announced but I hope she will compete. And SBS probably wanted her back in 2017, she just didn't want to do it then I guess

Probably the most interested in Jaguar out of those names. And I do actually quite like Isaiah's voice; it's just that his actual song last time was bleh. As always, though, I find it hard to tell much from just artist names, so I guess I'll wait and see.

Isaiah is doing a duet this time, not a solo attempt. I do like that he said he's back because he feels he has so much prove and he was just a teenager back then, which is a polite way of saying 'yeah, I know I kinda sucked.' I like self-awareness.

Very pleased to see Jaguar Jonze back at it. Looking forward to hearing her entry.

We also got a song snippet, but we don't know who does it. Right now I'm guessing Paulini, but we don't know who else is in the mix.

Nobody in Australia could name a single Samantha Jade song released in the past 5 years. Yes, we all remember who she is. But she is nothing more than a name who people kind of vaguely remember from a decade ago. She hasn't released new music in nearly a year, and hasn't even had a song which has hit the charts since 2016.

Being known without having a hit for years is the best springboard for participating in a national final.

Please stop pretend your Aussie National Final is better than any Europeans ones. It's about some newcomers, some has beens and pretty much some The Voice and Idol leftovers as well.

Thats why Samantha Jade is NOW the perfect fit for Australia. She would easily be a fan favourite (a well-deserved one), she falls into the category of someone who wants to take part in a national final and she somehow needs to revive her career (expecially since what's going on with Sony Music Australia right now).
