She has a strong voice, it's a powerful song, but whereas last year was something outstandingly fresh and entertaining, this is like a lot of songs this year. Not bad, but not really outstanding either. I'm curious to see if it qualifies this year.

The chorus is really weak, and is dragging the whole thing down so, so much. The bridge is amazing, and with that drum buildup and her belts you expect the final chorus to puncH you, but it leads to nowhere.
If this had a huge, anthemic chorus ala Euphoria, I would've won hands down.

Just about to write the exact same thing. The song needs some punch to it, but doesn't, it carries on at same level throughout and it begins to bore me slightly by the end. I can see Australia still doing well because it's still a good song, but no way do I see this winning, not unless her live performance is amazing.

I have to agree here, the build-up to the chorus is amazing but the actually chorus disappointed me, Still it´s one of the most decent songs this year, if the chorus would have been stronger, this could have been a sure winner but it will be a top 10 placing, from me

Honestly, it does take a lot of talent to write a song which doesn’t wake any emotions at all in me. It’s just so… bland-ish? This kind of music is exactly what I’ve written about in that Eurovision Confessions thread a while ago.

The chorus is a bit too repetitive and as some people mentioned it it's weaker thant the rest of the song. Still, it's a very good entry from Australia with the perfect singer. 10 points.

Honestly it's better for us to host in Europe rather than allow a civil war to erupt between Melbourne (the spiritual home of Australian Eurofandom) and Sydney (the international gateway, even if it doesn't deserve it )

And worse still, Brisbane would try to get in on the action cos Dami's from there, and then we all lose.

So, uh, Canberra 2017?
