I'm really happy Gorgeous woman with an amazing voice. Her live vocals are on point and if her song is as good as Gladiator or Alive she's gonna slay in May. Let hope for the best

Well they got the performer part right. Dami can sing and she can perform in front of an audience.

However it all depends on the song because in the end that is the most important thing and I do hope she will come up with a good song.

If I remember correctly, they trolled us last year already when they announced Guy and a later date for the song release. I don't see the point of this when both dates are so close to each other (unlike the Netherlands, San Marino, etc.)

Australia will definitely qualify, but the song remains the only objective indicator of how well they'll do in the final.

Last year when they announced Guy they hadn't picked a song yet. They said at the press conference it was probably going to be a song from his latest album. Then they saw what the competition was sending and decided to start from scratch. So there wasn't any of this announce artist one week, release the song next wack.

Some additional information on the song - people with decent insider connections are saying that it's "anthemic, Sia-like chorus, intimate, distinctive, very competitive" and "emotional". I don't think we can rely too much on the points of 'distinctive' and 'competitive' - you'll never hear any insider info saying 'well, it's kinda boring and generic' - but even then, the rest of those points sound promising.
