I don't like Delta Goodrem at all, I mean it'd be easy for her to win the ESC, so...

I've also heard the Delta rumour in a few places, but it doesn't seem to be anything concrete; there's no insider information, hints from our broadcaster, etc. It largely just boils down to 'she's got a gap in her schedule for May and she composed our Junior Eurovision entry', the latter of which doesn't say too much when the entry wasn't intended for Eurovision when it was written anyway.

I still think she's our most likely candidate at the moment, given the above, but it's probably best to wait for a stronger rumour before reacting too much to Delta.

This is also my opinion on the matter.
For all I know she could be Dami Im 2.0 for the 2016 season, because as of now it's just rumours with no real evidence.
However that being said I would love to see Delta on the Eurovision stage because this performance was fantastic:

Not any real 'proof', no. The predictions at the moment pretty much hinge on three hints:

  1. Delta's got a schedule gap in May that would allow her to participate
  2. Our HoD said last year that they wanted someone 'bigger than Guy' for 2016, and we don't have many of those
  3. She's currently recording an album
So there are some weak hints towards Delta, and she'd probably be my first guess at the moment, but she's far from confirmed. It's possible that the three hints are connected and lead to her, or it could just be that she's going to have a tour for her new, non-ESC album in May, and that we've either got someone else bigger than Guy or that SBS have just gone back on that.

Can she record anything better than "Wings" ? It's clearly in my TOP3 songs of 2015. If she just waited one month more before releasing it....
