Of course, Macedonia's is made to be english. Albania'a i'm not so sure on tbh. They went full English last year and fell flat on their face. Likely only two then in Semi 1. :/

On a first glimpse I did not think the draw was that bad for Estonia, but then I looked at the statistics and... I'm not going to lie, it's a pretty terrible outcome. However, "Goodbye to Yesterday" will slay the competition and qualify anyway.

Semifinal 1 is really hard!!
I was hoping that :al: Albania had a chance this year, but it's gonna be hard for Albania to qualify!

Semifinal 2 seems like a "easy" semifinal, the only 2 who are sure to qualify is :az: Azerbaijan and :se: Sweden

Sweden failed to qualify early as 2010 and Azerbaijan was very close to do so last year. I really hate when Eurovision fans say this kind of stuff.

Poor Portugal :(

(and lucky Romania once again)

Always is poor Portugal. But why lucky Romania? Is truth that there is Spain, Austria and Moldova. But Italy, Cyprus, Israel, Portugal, Ireland and, maybe, Norway are in the other semifinal. I think that there is an equilibrum and I also think that always is one. All what always was necessary was to be really good or different enough. We was just lucky in 2009 and 2011. I can accept this. But, for example, Polish diaspora is more big than Romanian one and they are not in big number only in two countries. We also are with many some ex-Yugo + Albania and ex-USSR that rarelly vote for us. Maybe Serbia to give few points. Also Netherlands and Finland are countries who don't vote us.

How can you already say the 10 qualifiers from Semi 1 if we haven't heard, like 14 of the 16 songs?

Interesting fact for Italy:

Romania isn't in the Italian semifinal for the 2nd time only (the first was in 2013).

San Marino, Switzerland, Malta, Montenegro and Slovenia are all in the Italian semifinal. This may cause quite a spread of votes between these countries.

The last time Italy had Sweden in its semifinal, it was 2011. Eric Saade is STILL involved in Melodifestivalen. Coincidences? I think yes.

Azerbaijan and Portugal never took part in the semifinal in which Italy votes. (No mention needed for Czech Republic, as it's the first time that Italy and Czech Republic are both into Eurovision)

Ireland always qualifies when Italy votes in its semifinal.

A bit fun that Sweden was the last one to get a draw.

However, I am a bit unpleased. Sweden is in semifinal 2, I was kind of hoping we would compete in semifinal 1 because semifinal 1 is always the best (since 2012) and it feels like semifinal 2 is not always as fun to watch, and to be honest it feels nowadays that it's better to go out first in a semi-final than later (it was different in 2008 when the two favorites Dima and Kalomira was last in their semi, and last year the two favorites Aram and Sanna was first out). And I don't know why but it just feels like having Norway in the same semifinal will bring bad luck.

Come on, some countries might give you more points or less, but there are three countries where the 12 televoting points are already yours. Those are Moldova, Spain and Italy. Out of them you got 2/3, including the most realiable one (Moldova), so you are lucky.

I know that your composer will write something good, juries will love it, and many televoters also.
As far as for Greece,
i predict qualification most propably because of Albania,Armenia,Belgium,Romania,Serbia.

Well, we've had 5 editions, and then 5 semifinals where Italy voted, since they came back. If Romania isn't in their semi for the second time it means they were in three other times.
In the end, 3 yes - 2 no. 60%-40%. I would not consider it an "interesting" fact

And I say that 2 or 3 where 12 televoting points are already ours could not be enough even for a qualification. Did you notice that Romania is voting Spain, too? People who return home start voting for you. ;)

Do you really think any of the Icelandic candidates songs can win?

I didn't hear any songs this year, but Nordic mafia should complete their job and to help their only waiting list country. :p

That NF is probably the best ever for me, I enjoy almost all songs, I gave 10/10 to 7 songs there!! They are too AMAZING to be true!
