We had the same thread last year! Looks like every year people keep saying that this is a weak year!
To me the songs are very good so far, only Macedonia and Albania have the weakest songs!

I'll hold off on doing more comparisons until the songs are all chosen - I can't really be bothered updating it every time a new entry comes out. That said, I'd expect it to still be in favour of 2015, but not as much as last time. Probably 11-9 or 12-8 or something. This latest wave of NFs was a real downer for me though - out of four new songs, not a single one is in my top ten. Still, I can't complain about the day just yet until Spain picks later tonight!

Comparing it to last year, until now, I think it's better. There were some good suprises with Latvia and Estonia, also some dissapointing ones, such as Hungary, Denmark and Italy. But what really lacks is that wow factor.
It's so hilarious how Eurofans and their polls always try to predict something and always get it so wrong.
Last year they could not have been more wrong about Netherlands and Israel for instance, and this year I am having more than just one deja-vu
So much hate and criticism on obvious great songs and so much hype for dullness.
From the years 2011 to 2015, I would say 2012 was by far the worst. Euphoria overshadowed everyone but it overshadowed only the crap that was in. Then comes 2011 where the good songs got a bad result and the bad songs a good one. Then 2013 with many great songs but yet the wrong winner and finally 2014 where the best songs were saved for the top. 2015 is songwise on a good way, I can't tell who's gonna win.

I don't think 2015 will beat 2014, because it was a very good year, one of the best in my opinion. But I can see that Baltikum has raised the standard this year, along with Spain, Slovenia and The Netherlands

Seriously, it's not even funny now. 2015 is just blowing away last year for song quality.

Now I can say this is not a weak year at all. It's quite interesting
It is true there are no real candidates to win so far (this also happened most of the recent years except for 2012 anyway), but most songs are good. Maybe not excellent, but good. It is also very close and I'm predicting a thrilling show. Can't wait
