You shouldn't blame it on the refs. I was cheering for Poland throughout the game, but Poland wasn't on the same level as they were against Sweden and Croatia.
Their right back didn't have a good day, the wings were cut. Poland is much better team than Qatar, in fact I believe that even Austria has more quality than Qatar (Qatar is better than say Belarus or Brazil for sure). Though, Qatar played well. They have a really good coach and some players that played in the Qatari league and were given passports to play for their team. Saric used to be always in the shadow of Sterbik in Barcelona, and I don't think he is a really good keeper, but he is good. Markovic used to play for Metalurg Skopje some time ago and he isn't a great player at all, and yet he is in the top3 list of the goalscorers!
Qatar should really thank Rivera for leading the team. I was watching Qatar on the last championship where Macek used to be their coach (he is leading Iran now) and some of those players who play now are playing much better. They know how to foul, don't rush much in the game.. Also Qatar had an easy group, they got Austria in the 1/8-finals. Then they got Germany then and now Poland. Only I think against Austria the refs made a difference in favour of Qatar, but otherwise the teams had a bad day against them and Qatar is in the final now. Yes, that was not a goal that was allowed, but would that make any difference? As much as I cheered for Poland, they seemed kinda demotivated throughout the game and not really there.
Don't worry, France will win against them at least with +5.
