I didn't watch this championship at all sadly, RTS is not broadcasting it. I guess it is that logic that if we aren't participating, there is no need to broadcast any of the matches..........


I saw the roster of the Qatar national team, and that is a huge embarrassment for sport. Congratulations for such success, but I can't really say it is deserved.

Important win for Germany
7th place is a very good result for us considering that we actually shouldn't take part. Now we are qualified for the Olympics qualifying competition in 2016.
I think we can be optimistic for the future
Hope this World cup performance wasn't just a exception like in the WC 2013, I hope it was a first step in a long-range development that reaches its peak in the World cup 2019 which is gonna take place here in Germany (and in Denmark). Then our team is supposed to be a title contender, that's at least the goal of our association

We lost to Denmark in the last match and came 6th......so, we are leaving this championship as total losers because this is our worst placement in the world championships since 2005. .... I don't know. We need new coach (obviously) but also: new tactic, younger players, better motivation......nothing else to say. Everything should be changed in our team. I won't repeat myself anymore because this agony is too deep.

Actually, it's not popular at all. It was before, but almost nobody cares about it now.


As for our national team.........if they plan to embarrass themselves just like on every other championship, then it's better to skip EURO 2016.

Wow, we won a bronze medal after extra time Exciting game and congratulations to our team for the whole tournament. But don't forget about Spain - they were also playing in this close-fought game and made a world-class spectacle with us. Now I hope that will smash up a "Qatar" team and win their deserved 5th World Champion title.

-I underestimated Poland,but you can't blame me for that...just look at their performance in the group stage (just not the one with Saudi Arabia)
-I hope Qatar doesn't do the same in 2022 (hire players from another country to play for them,Sure other countries do it too,but not as much and that sport is actually popular in those countries.Qatar's 2nd place reminds me of Italian Junior eurovision victory last year)

Don't worry, I was doing the same thing Poland against group rivals and Poland against Sweden/Croatia/Spain were two different teams.
