Most the diaspora indeed knows a lot about Armenian culture, but that has nothing to do with being low-cultured or not Hoparo. With low-cultured I mean rabiz. Ofcourse not all people who vote are low-cultured.

I suggest that you don't write things like: shut your mouth, etc. Thats not masculine. If you are a man you should say it in someones face, not write things on internet. And if you disagree with something or someone, you should give your opinion about it so we can talk about it.
I have never talked to a mature person, who during a discussion said: You need to keep your mouth shut. Its hilarious though!
Instead of saying that, engage in a civilized discussion and try to convince someone that you are right and the other is wrong.

Tufti or tuftel is not an Armenian word. I dont know which language that is.

So thanks for your advice bro about thinking what to write first and then write, but I also suggest that you take my advice that I meantioned above. If you have any other questions or difficulties, you should ask and if you receive a response, dont say: shut up. Otherwise we cannot discuss.

[ADMIN] Please, provide at least brief translation in English

I would , if you haven't deleted my post

^ thanks :D
Well, according to rules we have to provide at least brief translation when we use a different language. Though of course you can PM in any language you like but on the board it's about English or at least brief translation in English.
ps. I'm supposed to be attentive to all posts :)

btw, who's your fave contestant in this NF after hearing all songs? Emmy & Mihran or Eva Rivas?

to see how they will sing live .I'll be glad to see either Rivas or Emmi & Mihran on eurovision stage

btw , Mihran with Madonna's dancers have already arrived in Yerevan.this morning they were on a local tv program :D

I like both because they are different, it's hard to compare, but I'd choose Emmy & Mihran (as biased Madonna fan).

thank u for reply.I was thinking today which one has more chances
to win and came to a conclusion that it's Eva .Emmy & Mihran 's song is in pure american style while in Rivas's songarmenian elements prresent and her appearance will do a good job for her .I think the masculine part of our voters will send sms to Eva

I wonder whose song people in this forum like more - Eva Rivas's or Emmi & Mihran's?

I actually quite like both but I prefer "Hey" overall. I think that "Hey" would get some televoting points from the UK (for the first time since the 2006 semi!), as it sounds like the sort of music that is popular here :)

sorry for offtop , what does this "Two Points' under my avatar means ? ;)

It's the ranking system. We're currently playing around with it. The more posts you have, the more points you get. This may change in the future though.

Okay, back to topic ;)

Sorry for changing the subject but thank you Qele. The reason the I registered is to tell Hayq not to talk bad about other Armenians and degrade our diaspora infront of other people. I've noticed him doing that over the years.
BTW HAYQ I'm a diaspora Armenian, live in US for 16 years. I visit Armenia every year and trust me there are more rabiz in Armenia then in diaspora, to comment on your argument.

it's ok Hopar ;) if I'm not mistaken Hayq also lives outside Armenia.somewhere in Netherlands . I'm sure he will do necessary conclusions of it  there are so many people both in Armenia and in diaspora who love "rabiz" and I don't see anything wrong in it.so many people so many tastes :D

Re: ???????? - Armenia 2010

here's an extract from Eva Rivas's intreview . well done Eva , now I know who I send my sms

Eva Rivas: I want to represent Armenia at Eurovision-2010

-Eva, tell us about your impressions of the preparatory process for participation in the national selection

- I'm overwhelmed with feelings, emotions. Filled with boundless joy. "Eurovision" is a contest I have been longing for a few years to, this is my dream. Now I feel that I am on the right track, I am full of confidence and know that nothing can knock me to the true path. There is so much positive things that I can not even sleep. A few days ago I lost sleep, and it's not going back (laughs). All turned out to run. We rarely get that hard, because the whole team works with pleasure and understanding. We are very united and always listen to each other.

- Do you like your song?

-I fell in love with the song, when the producer sent it to me it was still quite crude line of melody. Every year I listened to the songs, which won at Eurovision and was surprised by an inability to write a quality song. Each year, the winner are selected from the extreme to the other. I was afraid that song that they wrote to me will be imposed, but once again I made sure that nothing will be done without my consent .

- Tell a little about yourself, the Armenian public is not informed about your creative work

- I have 75 per cent of the Armenian blood, and I feel Armenian. I grew up in Rostov-on-Don. From 7 years I sang in the children's choir, always sang the loudest and drown out my voice was not (laughs). From 9 to 17 years, I sang in the choir the Armenian song "Arevik", by the way, along with singer Arame, we had a lot of years worked together. When I was 13 years I took the "silver" at the Delphic Games. At the age of 17 I moved to Moscow, took part in the contest "5 Stars". This was the first and last major project in my life on Russia's stage, and I did not regret about it. At the competition, I learned a lot about Russia's show business, that I did not like, and I decided that I want to my people.

My Mother is pure Armenian.Father is half Armenian half Russian .My grangranmother was Greek-Eva Rivas.so I took her name and became Eva Rivas .Armenian culture is in my blood

Re: ???????? - Armenia 2010

^She's my favorite by far even though the 'official video' is not that good
But as i see there's been nothing with the stolen rumours on 'Never'. I can hardly except the similarity with Hadise's song's 'hey hey' parts because of the cultures are familiar. But it's obvious that those violin parts exactly stolen from Izel's song.
In addition both songs belong to Dum Tek Tek's composer, Sinan Akç?l. I guess she really liked him
