Maria Kirizian is the cousin of Laura Voutilainen (Finland 2002)

Good work from Hayk Kasparov. "Du Gites" is my fave now!
I hope he would represent Armenia.

Du Gites is pretty ok, but I prefer Maria Kirizians song.

The short sound we could hear in the Mihran and Emmy clip, is it the song they will compete with? If it is, it sounds really modern and americanized (in both a good and a bad way, ESC usually don't like americanized songs, but I am up for a new and more modern contest in every way, so I like it! :) )

Wow... the quality of the songs is awful! The song by Maria Kizirian is the only one I liked but Emmy and Mihran will probably be picked but they are absolutely awful.

Re: ???????? - Armenia 2010

yeah, you can listen to all songs here:
http://eurovision.am/eng/

uhm, I expected a lil' bit more from Emmy & Mihran but I like it. The lyrics is awful but it's a common weakness of all songs like this.
As for Maria Kizirian ... the beginning sounds like We Will Rock You :| its music sucks more than its lyrics, imo.
Can't wait for the live performance, anyway.
Imo, Mihran & Emmy are clear winners of this selection -> I think that Armenians will choose them.

....What a disapointment from Emmy & Mihran...

They could have something tasteful at least! :p

No the best song by far is Maria Kizirian! The other songs are just awful in my opinion! :(

Re: ???????? - Armenia 2010

I'm agree with Emmy & Mihran's disappointment but it's even enough them to win. It's catchy but dunno not so good
Songs seem good actually. At least better than last year's :D
I did loved 'Apricot Stone' especially the beginning of it.
'Little Red Riding Hood' were already my favorite so still ok :D
'Infected Dreams' really reminds sth. that i can't find yet... But i see the whispers of ''stolen''

'Never's totally stolen from Hadise's 'Evlenmeliyiz' and Izel's 'Belli mi olur''. Dunno why she though to do this from Turkish songs
Here's 'Belli mi olur': http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2m3a5_izel-belli-mi-olur_music (Its intro is exactly the same)
and 'Evlenmeliyiz': http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9n4mr_hadise-evlenmeliyiz-yeni-albumden-2_music (Ah Le le le part :D It sounds as if she put the same sounds to her song from Hadise's one)
I'm really sorry i don't wanna blame anyone but no one can deny this. These are much more than 'inspiring'

Finally, 'We must believe' sounds classy :ugeek:

I wish Apricot Stone or We must believe to win but i predict that Hey is gonna be selected.
Good luck neighbors :)

Emmy & Mihran are good, but nothing outstanding.

My fave is 'Little Red Riding Hood' , and if it wins, Armenia is a hot favorite to get my vote on the night :)

Re: ???????? - Armenia 2010

DoctorX,

Haha! :D Its not stolen, its the SAME song sang in English :D Its crazy. Maybe she wanted to have the most points from Turkey if selected.

My favourite is Ays Dzmer! I like the song. Mihran and Emmy, I expected much more from them. But Ill tell you the reason why they selected this kind of song: The reason is that a large part of the Armenian Diaspora who is voting, is low-cultured. So the song has to be kind of simple in a way. I like the instrumental part of their song though!

Apricot is also good. Any song is good for me. At least better than Jan Jan or Qele qele

I think, Mihran and Emmy will go to Oslo and I also think that we are gonna like the song after listening to it many times and after seeing the performance etc. Just like with Qele qele. :D

Hayq you need to keep your mouth shut. The diaspora is not low cultured. They know a lot about Armenian culture. You are just a immature little kid who doesn' tknow what he is talking about. Amota ara urishneri mor berant mi machi ankap tufti. Mi hat mtaci inch es grum nor gri.

Re: ???????? - Armenia 2010

Hopaaaaaar?
Most the diaspora indeed knows a lot about Armenian culture, but that has nothing to do with being low-cultured or not Hoparo. With low-cultured I mean rabiz. Ofcourse not all people who vote are low-cultured.

I suggest that you don't write things like: shut your mouth, etc. Thats not masculine. If you are a man you should say it in someones face, not write things on internet. And if you disagree with something or someone, you should give your opinion about it so we can talk about it.
I have never talked to a mature person, who during a discussion said: You need to keep your mouth shut. Its hilarious though!
Instead of saying that, engage in a civilized discussion and try to convince someone that you are right and the other is wrong.

Tufti or tuftel is not an Armenian word. I dont know which language that is.

So thanks for your advice bro about thinking what to write first and then write, but I also suggest that you take my advice that I meantioned above. If you have any other questions or difficulties, you should ask and if you receive a response, dont say: shut up. Otherwise we cannot discuss.

Ays Dzmer and Apricot Stone are the best songs. Apricot Stone is maybe the best. It would be sad if this song is not heard in whole Europe. You can listen to it over and over again. Also, Apricot represents Armenia. This song should win!

If "Little Red Riding Hood" doesn't win, I'm for Apricot Stone but to be honest there is a huge distance in my preference between both songs. Maria Kizirian is honestly the best choice above all but her nationality might hold her back. Armenia should really just send a standard song, they don't need an ethnic sounding song all the time.
