No matter how many times I've seen it, the last minute still gives me chills and I just cry every time. So increeeedibly powerful and impactful and emotional. Unbelieveable. This entry is just so mindblowing and so extraordinary and special. I don't have any words. It can't be forgotten, it shouldn't be.... There's nothing else like this, and there won't be. It's why I hope it wins. I don't know what my reaction will be tomorrow, but I can't waaaaiiiit to see it... I will be voting my ass off for this in the finale. Because I'm sure this will become my favourite Eurovision entry ever. It's so much more than just a song. It's authentic artistry.

Didn't think the jury performance was all that Good, certainly, maybe great even, but she's done so much better.

I still think this won't do as well as expected in the televoting :?. It will qualify for sure but I don't think it will win. The staging is great and it probably will do well in the final but I think it's a bit too alternative to actually win.

And yes, I don't like the song, it's not my cup of tea at all, but I try to be objective and I think the viewers maybe won't actually go for this..

Sorry to poop the party, but I think this is just a terrible song. It's a dirge which doesn't really go anywhere melodically. The English lyrics sound like they've just been fed through Google Translate, and the performance is very amateurish. The girl, to give her her dues, really does nail the upper range notes, but that's really not enough to make it an enjoyable listening experience.

I couldn't resist ... I've watched the vid of the first dress rehearsal (which had a poor quality btw)
Very very veeeeeeeeeeeery moving performance (unlike anything else I've ever seen in my 9 years as a Eurovision Fan) - excellent camera work, stunning visuals and her vocals were on point (although she clearly didn't even give 70% - I can only imagine what 100% look like).

Last year the juries ranked Latvia 2nd. I will be surprised if they don't put this in 1st place. If they don't, I think it will only be to avoid the political drama.

Why would you think that? What does this have in common with "Grande Amore"??
I definitely find a few similarities between this and Aminata's act. And luckily the juries knew how to appreciate "Love Injected", so why not "1944"?

There's no way of knowing for sure, but imo 1944 is more similar to Love Injected and Suus, which scored 2nd and 3rd, respectively, with the jury.
