Looking at the odds, i say Malta, I doubt it will even qualify for the final.
Also I think Australia might be a shock non-qualifier.

I think that it'll be like 2015, where all the fan favorites that are in the semi finals qualified for the final, but once there, I think the ones that will flop are :hr: :ua: :az: :it: :mt: :es: :fr: and to a certain extent :ru:. My biggest worry right now is :bg: in the same way that I was worried about :be: and :il: last year.

:bg: Bulgaria will qualify, but I highly doubt it will score too good in the final. Maybe with a really good show, but still. Btw, I really like the song, but I'm being realistic about her chances.

Interesting xthink So according to your impression, who do you think would have a shot at winning eventually?

I'm not very good at predictions, but as of right now, I think it'll be either Hungary or Latvia.

Croatia seems like a flop to me, a Feminem vol. 2 version (and I called that one 6 years ago). Also, Czech Republic doesn't sound anything special. If she gets a good draw and sings well, she'll probably make it.
France and Estonia aren't too safe-y. So all in all, it could be like in 2011 with a bits of here and there.

Australia will flop with the televote like in JESC and I am not sure if Bulgaria will do that well. It could be a 2012 result or maybe they'll go through and there they'll just do ok (I like the song, but her performance in Moscow wasn't really convincing).

:cz: is getting a lot of support it shouldn't really have. I want them to qualify as much as anyone else but they wont with I Stand. Also :am: and :is:

Judging by the odds and fan polls, I go with France right now.

The live performances I watched on YouTube were pretty aweful. I like the song, but it sucks live :( Because he can't sing the one high note before the last chorus, he even used playback for only this part.

There's no 2 year old childs here, we couldn't hear him clearly as the ambient audio is distortionary, you're the first one iv'e seen saying he couldn't hit "that supposed high note", you may be having hearing problems.

Amir's vocals are not perfect at all at some parts of the song tbh

I don't think it will be a problem for a good result tho (for France standards)

:ee: because it's loved by most fans, but I don't see it doing well in televoting on the first or second time listening. Might do well with juries though.
:mk: is practically the same.
:es: because I think it might not appeal enough to juries, and maybe not to the average televoter either.

I'm starting to think that Ukraine won't do as good as the votings and polls make us believe. I don't know if it's going to be an EPIC flop, but it will get no way near top 5, I'm not even sure about top 10. I can't imagine which countries would vote for it apart from the usual suspects. It may sound strange to Western Europeans. The song title seems strange (though it does make sense), the important parts are in a language many of us don't understand and the singing is taking some getting used to.
