I've said it before and I'll say it again
SEND THIS GIRL! This cover gives me shivers down my spine. She won Britain's Got Talent this year; the BBC should be banging on her door!!!
Her album is out in 11 days! I’m very excitedInteresting, maybe wait for some original songs from her, getting experience by doing tours and stuff (assuming she didn't do any of that yet if she just won BGT) and then send her in two years or something
Tell that to the juries who lap this stuff up year in year out!
This is the UK my darling. I will take any jury bait that gets us on the left hand side! With whom exactly are you comparing her?
To Loreen? To Nemo? To Iolanda? To Slimane? To Sam Ryder?
All of them had a lot of artistic merit and charisma to them.
The only example of the jury rewarding the vocals alone in the last few years is probably Alika from Estonia and Azerbaijan 2022 (but that was a bit iffy as well tbh considering the scandal with them and I wouldn't exactly call 10th place jury and 3 points from televote a huge success)...

Besides, who says she doesn’t have charisma? Artistic merit comes with talent which she most definitely has.
The BBC are reportedly taking a different approach (my guess is someone who isn’t already famous or has a back catalogue already).IDK why the BBC would choose her after the likes of Sam, Mae and Olly.
If they want a big voice choose Paloma Faith. It's not like she's bigger than Olly or Sam.
I think this suggestion is massively underrated. Sydney can SINGGGG! Immediately reminded of Alika (Estonia) with Bridges from 2022, which came 8th. She would be guaranteed good Jury points because you just know she’d nail the vocal. Yes, it’s not all about the vocals, but with the right song and staging.. it could be powerful! BBC - I hope you’re listening!I've said it before and I'll say it again

Countries like Italy would never send a talent show winner to Eurovision.
Um, Italy is sending casting show winners/participants all the time? lol I guess the difference is that the Italian talent shows have a better reputation and are actually helping the people in becoming famous. But lots of their acts ran through the mill of X Factor or Amici, including Maneskin, Mahmood, Marco Mengoni, Emma Marrone, Francesca Michielin or Angelina Mango
Tbh I don't care where the artist comes from as long as they can sing, have a great song and charisma. Talent shows get a lot of mediocrity go through them, but they've also produced some huge household names over the years. I think the BBC should utilise every avenue available to them.
Very unlikely but she'd be a dream contestant. Has had a very successful career, music is still relevant and can sing incredibly wellRumours are circulating that Becky Hill has been internally selected… UK going for drum and bass, maybe?!
Getting her and Chase & Status together for a track would be brilliant!Very unlikely but she'd be a dream contestant. Has had a very successful career, music is still relevant and can sing incredibly well
It’s Becky Hill ft. Rina Sawayama did you not hear?I can't go through another season of Rina Sawayama levels of rumour.
