I just want us to do well for once. It's a piss take. The song wasn't great, but it was alright and they did a good performance. How some countries got above us was laughable. Need a reform and the BBC need to go away and let someone else take over.

I think if we'd been later on amongst a block of the ballads, we'd have done better. It went down well in the arena (they we're singing along to Alex's bit!). And the worse thing we could do is let ITV and Cowell get his hands on it...
Plus, 4 of the big 7 came last. Clearly this shows performing in the Semi Final (look at Belgium's 4th!) can be advantageous. Spain got a favourable performing spot, Australia the novelty vote, and Italy were such a well known name in that genre that they already had the publicity.
And we beat France! and Germany!
